A key indicator that showed the banks seizing up and not lending to each other right before the GFC in 2008 is now flashing red as banks scramble to acquire funding. Some bank stocks are down 30% since the start of the war. This time there will not be, can not be any bail out from the Fed. Can not be any reduction in interest rates. The fed is out of ammo.
NATO should not have expanded after the fall of the Berlin Wall. It did so under Obama and it did so under Trump, though some commentators say Trump was naive in his selection of staff as he picked many Deep State players. The appointment of Mattis to Secretary of War (sic) was rubber stamped by John McCain even though McCain detested Trump. Why would McCain go easy on Trump nominee's? Do you still trust the checks and balances of US Govn?
Putin has tired of waiting, saw the walls closing in and he acted. The West has been very slow to wake up to this fact, is still full of hubris and has some incredibly inept personnel at the helm. A rude awakening is in store especially as the truth about the vaccines comes out.
