Forest fires are quite common in Russia, presumably because they are needed to pretend burn forest that was illegally sold to China. At least that is their conspiracy theory.

Even in their case a lot of fires are due to arson, not by climate change arsonists but by illegal loggers.

Missed my condo by ~3.5 miles. My business partner wasn't so lucky and his house burned down. I've only had a 10 second phone call with him since the event which was cutoff. His family are okay. I too suspect arson.
