If we are to believe NPR the impeachment procedure can be held even after the person has left the office. As inferred by some "political science professor" from Stanford who literally wrote a book on that shit (doesn't mean it's true, of course).

The purpose of doing it is not as silly as it looks at first glance: they want to make sure Trump is not running in 2024 and being impeached, removed and specifically banned from being elected again is the only way to achive that. The hardest part is removal as it requires 2/3 vote in Senate. The last step, bizzarely enough, requires only majority vote.

Again Trump will be too old in 2024, bi-den is already enough. That's a chance of a worthy conservative successor ticket like D. Crenshaw / C. Owens 2024.

They may be afraid of what Trump will expose in the coming months, and want to shut it down now.

Crenshaw is not on the list. Voted FOR Certifying the Election, shock of shocks.

It doesn't matter, conservatives will need a good candidate in 2024. Looking backwards won't accomplish anything if everything goes on as planned til 2024.

Will be beaten just outside the mandatory recount margin by 3AM after a 4-year campaign of "modernizing elections with mail voting, like in progressive states like Oregon have been doing for years now and worked so well during the COVID crisis, that only conspiracy theorists disagreed, like convicted subversive felon Rudy Guiliani, whose name is next to Benedict Arnold for his sedition"

Or even more likely:
Mitt Romney, beloved lion of the Senate, ascends to the Presidency. Romney was one of many brave Republican senators who stood up to the threat of MAGA.

Agreed but I also meant it won't matter if the candidate has a 100% "clean" record. Nobody has a perfect record, I'd still vote for the better alternative. Politics is always the politics of what's possible. Better than achieving nothing IMO.

Or throw Rand in there with proper marketing. It would take a push to turn conservatives to support the Constitutional principles and divest from the “conservative” party of old. Might get people to vote that otherwise haven’t for decades.

Agree on Rand I actually supported Rand in 2016 briefly, not an OT (Original Trumpler). The problem is that they, esp. Libertarian leaning conservatives (also Rinos but they do it purely for personal profit), are too polite and immediately get into the defensive over some shite made up accusation of !rayscysm! Guess that's where the proper marketing will come in. I mean didn't some neghbor fuck up Rand over a stupid dispute. Rand needs to be psychologically and physically coached by some MMA fighter for the years leading into 2024 then he is ready to fuck shit up and win an election, he's already got the smarts. And maybe marketing package by Bannon Inc.

U.S.—Donald Trump was permanently banned from Twitter today, being a crazy fringe extremist who also happens to be the president of the United States.

But the ever-clever Trump, always known as the smartest man in the room, has managed to get back on the social network by disguising himself as one Chongald Xrump, PR specialist for the Chinese Communist Party.

Trump is reportedly attempting to build a following by tweeting about how good Uighur concentration camps are and how nice the Chinese government is, since those things are not banned under Twitter's terms of service. Once he has enough followers, he'll remove his Asian rice hat and false Fu Manchu mustache and begin tweeting about the rigged election once again.

"Hello good sirs, I am here today to tell you how great our concentration camps are! Very clean and humane!" he wrote. The tweet was not flagged for inciting violence or being, you know, the tweet of a communist country that has killed tens of millions of its own citizens. In fact, people who replied and questioned the legitimacy of his tweet were suspended for hate speech.

Should his ploy fail, Trump says he will next try disguising himself as an Antifa leader.

I knew Apple was asshoe since age 14 when Motley Crue was in the Charts. Jack Tamriel didn't give a fuck. The wrong company survived to be bailed out by Angel Investors.

If we had the Commodore, the Commodore would be looking out for us.

We've got the raspberry pi 400.

Commodore would have sold out too. No company from the 1980's really exists, they are mutants of what we knew 30 years ago.
