My father's side of the family is a bit ambiguous.

We don't know the history beyond him and his wife. They were poor farmers.
Without Islam, there would have been no 9/11. They were Islamic fanatics motivated by Islam to die in order to kill Americans.

I'm not a believer exactly, but I think religion has a lot of value even if you don't believe literally. Community, a set of rules, and encouragement to treat others as you wish to be treated.

Kind of same here. Religion makes people wise. It’s important. Smart isn’t going to do this.
