I'm surprised there was so little commentary about something: When Nancy Pelosi was giving Pence beaver nuggies and high fives for his act of betrayal to the nation in the House, she explicitly handed him a coin that was some kind of indication of induction and appreciation. My wife said that the Satanists distribute membership promotion coins as rewards to the faithful for dire tasks accomplished. The handoff certainly looked weird whatever it was.

The Satanist thing requires a many more assumptions than I'm willing to make.

I think Pence is just a self-interested coward who cares not a whit about democracy, and is quite willing to go along with the fraud because he thinks that will help him in some way.
