What about 'designed to fail' didn't you understand? Nothing like promoting marginal technologies with no legs, using them to launder tax money and profits to elites, then sequestering the the energy assets that actually work to hold society hostage.
Clif High's audit of solar panels. Still wildly optimistic, because I doubt that solar panels will perform in any meaningful sense over 20 years. Electronics tend to deteriorate a lot between 10 and 15 years just through materials stresses
The billing complexity out here is enough to scare me off. That said, you're saying a 100W panel costs $100. If it generates 0.5 kWh per day, you're looking at 182.5 kWh per year. At your specified $0.13 per kWh that's $23.73 generated per year for a total payoff within 5 years. Double the costs to account for labor and the inverter hardware, but triple the $0.13 because... California. So a solar panel system would seem to make sense in an area like mine. (Again, if someone can explain all the crazy billing stuff, I might consider it.)

I just don't believe any of the fairy financial projections about solar, with or without tax credits. They are an albatross waiting to happen.
Since everything that the Green and Global Warming crowd have said is a lie, what makes one think they would not manufacture fake news about longevity and usability? After ten years, whoever put your stuff in is going to be in the wind, and the Guv probably won't stand by anything any more. Your problem, and costly to remove the stuff, likely with stiff hazardous trash removal fees.
I see a TON of fake bullshit here, passed off as real, and if you didn't notice in Clown World it's a bit difficult to determine what is actual "news" and what isn't.
Post fucking links. Post fucking links. I ask it all the fucking time, post fucking links. Quit being a lazy piece of shit, and post fucking links.

Post fucking links for jokes in a thread for jokes? Are you insane or just pretend to be insane?
Fucking unfindable. Please be courteous and don't require EVERYBODY that wants to know what the source is, to fucking look up the fucking source, when you have the fucking source right in front of you.
