You mean by their own kids? So be it, once your kids are 18+ you have done your job and they are free to live how they see fit
This has nothing to do with "rights." A grandparent not being able to see the grandkids is a serious hurt, so many grandparents will keep quiet about their beliefs.

That's on them then. Your responsibility is to raise your children to the best you can without neglecting yourself and your wife, have a great time with them and them see the off to take on the world. It's worked like that forever and will never change. Sure it's nice and used to be the norm that your kids will stay in touch with you and even take care of you when you're old. But if not, more time for your hobbies, wife and friends while you grow old. It's your kids to job to raise their children. Don't be a pussy and give up your principles.

Going along to get along is how we got here.
It's pretty simple to explain your positions, to somebody who is rational. One of my friend's friends was absolutely apoplectic that I favored Trump over Hillary Clinton, so I discussed me reasoning. Clinton was secretary of state when Libya was bombed which left it in civil war with operating slavery markets, she gave numerous "speeches" to the same banks that the US government bailed out in 2007 and 2008 for 100's of thousands of dollars each time - it was just a bribe, and she voted for the Iraq War over the non-existent weapons of mass destruction program.
Trump was a complete unknown, but how could he be worse?
You have to be willing to discuss your reasoning, IF they are capable of reason. A lot of people aren't, they just repeat propaganda talking points. If your kid is like that, you fucked up.
