Pro tip: Watch YT via Brave browser and they won't fuck your skull with any ads at all.
FWIW, Youtube is far less intrusive with their ads. They will skull fuck you with 5 back to back ads, some that you can't skip on their TV streaming boxes and built in TV aps. .But as far as watching Youtube on the Computer, it seems the Youtuber has to set up ads on their channel or they don't play at all. I don't get any ads on Youtube when I watch Matts Off Road Recovery, Robby Laton, Garage 54, Fab Rats. Matt ORR, teamed up with Donut Media for an episode, and I guess Donut Media guys talked the MORR guys into inserting Ads into the video. There was about 4 yellow markers for a 45 minute video. I was worried it was going to be a new thing with them, but they haven't put them in since.

I've been screwing around with programming again in weird and crazy ways.
It shouldn't be difficult to modify the brave web browser on your phone to control a raspberry pi connected to a television, also running the browser, and eliminating all this mumbo jumbo bullshit machines.
Television is dead, and computers are far superior. A computer can "play" an add in an instant, then play the video.
Who can monetize this?
