That's half the story. There was another weather system up North and they were spinning in different directions, i.e., one clock wise and the other counter.

The winds joined and sort of combined forces to generate the 80mph winds that blew right through the center of Maui.

Yes agreed the pattern of totally scorched earth in these fires are too frequent for once in 100 year fires.

I don't care to read biographies about modern people. .But I will go stand in line to read the Hunter Biden, Clean and Sober biography, if/when he gets clean and writes about the demons that drove him to be such a fuck up.
