Denmark can eat shit. So can all of Europe. They'd be wiped out by Bermuda if all of them teamed up. Distance to the US, not by Bermuda itself, but that would be a better asset to have than Greenland. It would be the Hawaii of the Atlantic. Enough tourism to pay for itself at least.

We literally beat the world in the 1940's from across two oceans and only have become more powerful. I don't know what the "win" would have been with Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, but we did mainly dominate. I don't think the powers that be cared all that much.
