Damien and Myles Sanderson went on a stabbing spree in Canada this weekend, killing 11 people. Myles had 59 previous convictions and yet was still free. It turns out that the only sure way to protect the public from violent crooks is to put them in prison. Banning guns wont do it

The parole board in February lamented that Myles had suffered systemic racism due to his indigenous background. They blamed his violence on "loss of culture/spirituality."

The only kind of "criminal justice reform" we should be talking about is the kind that puts guys like Myles behind bars and keeps them there

Will anyone on the parole board be held accountable for declaring this psychopath “not an undue risk to society,” despite having committed dozens of violent crimes at that point?

Two armed men were shot and killed by a 17-year-old while they attempted a home invasion, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

On Friday at about 10:40 p.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to an in-progress shooting call in the 16000 block of 1st Street.

ABC13 obtained surveillance footage showing four suspects arriving and parking next door to the home.

Nearly two minutes later, two suspects are seen running back to the car before driving off.

Upon arrival, deputies said they located two men with apparent gunshot wounds on the lawn along the side of a residence.

The two other suspects were found on the lawn along the house and were pronounced dead, according to Gonzalez.

A woman, a 12-year-old boy, and two 17-year-old men were inside the home during the attempted home invasion but were not injured, Gonzalez said.

Deputies said one of the 17-year-olds retrieved a shotgun and discharged it several times, striking the two intruders.

Channelview, a suburb of Houston, is home to about 45,000 people. Texas ranked No. 1 in gun ownership last year, according to data from the Rand Corporation. The state issued more than 1 million gun licenses in 2021, and 45.7% of adults say they live in homes with guns.
