Touchy subject for me. I got in trouble in elementary school for calling a black kid a nigger. He was bullying so I just called him that. Funny part is I now have a black child. My kid was called a cracker at school by some little Indian shit and didn't know how to respond. I sat him down and delivered a lecture on what to call every little colored shit in situations like that. Told him I'll back him up in front of the school admin if he gets in trouble, but only if he's not the one to start the exchange.

I've told teachers in the past if my daughter has someone picking on her, she's authorized to use force, and I won't blame her, I'll blame them, as they're only adult supervising at the time. And I've talked my daughter through what constitutes an appropriate response escalation, so first isn't step one unless the other kids start with physical.

The funny this is, one of my sisters told all 3 of sons that she does not want them to bring black girls to the house. And my last day of my Sophmore year in HS, I threw a notebook on the floor on my way out of the dorm. The notebook got into the hands of the principle because I had written "I hate niggers" in it. Well, my father had to go to the school a week before my Junior year started and he and I had to talk to the Principle before I could attend. The Principle asked me where I got that language from and I pointed at my father. LMAO...they still let me attend that year. $$$ talks. They wanted/needed my tuition.
