Let's wait a couple of week when Americans are dying on gurneys in front of hospitals. Then you can compare.
Are Western Europeans in France, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the UK really this unhealthy?
Or is this a case of their nationalized healthcare systems not being up to the task and lacking major resources?
These Europeans are older than Americans on average, and thus more susceptible to corona.
I believe the median age of the Netherlands and France is only a couple years higher than the US.
America has much higher prevalence of diabetes and fat/unhealthy people too - so I would think that would help normalize the populations.
Don't know about Netherlands, but Southern Europe also smokes like crazy which should help with corona deaths.
How can a country like France who is less than 25% of our population have more net deaths than America at this point and be considered to have have the #1 Best Health Care system in the world?
Are these rankings on overall health and healthcare systems meaningless?
socal2 saysAre these rankings on overall health and healthcare systems meaningless?
of course, all these rankings are very political and self-serving for WHO bureaucrats. What a surprise!!!!
Yep - remember that when Progressives cite statistics like this when they argue for Medicare for All and Single Payer in the US.
Then ask why they want cancer patients to die. Call them nazis for good measure and stomp out the room.

Yet virtually all of Western Europe (most certainly Italy) have a much higher death rate to coronavirus per capita compared to America.
