I once asked my parents when the best decade of the United States was, they told me the 1950s. For me, I would judge it to be the 1990s. They see a continual decline just as I do.
I clearly have said that in the 1950's the most people of the Soviet Russian society believed their BS government and I've stated that decade MULTIPLE times.

just pointing out that even a privileged Soviet individual believed the hype about the West, not trying to prove you wrong. And since you wrote it was spouted from radio, tv set I figured you were speaking from the 50's on, since TVs were not common even in the US during the 1950s.

Let me demonstrate this to you, personally. Who is your mayor? Who is your police commissioner? You have blind faith in your government, most people do, and the citizens of the USSR were no exception.
It wasn't until the 1970's citizens of the USSR were beginning to realize they were propagandized and lied to, in large numbers. It was a slow process. I'm amazed at how slow it was, but I live in the United States, and I'm witnessing the same thing. Russian Collusion? Assad is gassing his own people? Qaddafi is about to cause a humanitarian crisis? Ukraine had a revolution? Crimea was stolen by Russia? Russia invaded Georgia to attack S. Ossetia? Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Those are just a list of foreign policy lies - how about "diversity is our strength"? "Trump is a racist and misogynist"? It's internal as well.
I had family on the other side of the Iron Curtain, it wasn't until the early 1980's they became aware. That side of my family were from polish refugees from before WWII. They narrowly escaped the German invasion and the subsequent take over of their nation by Russia. They didn't know the problems until Lech Wałęsa started Solidarity. Movements only show up when it gets really bad, and even then, the government does everything they can to destroy the movement which is just a reform movement.
I knew people in this environment at the time. I don't think their situation was unique.

If Farrell is right, this could mean our intelligence services are conducting a mind control experiment on a massive scale. Not unlike the mind control experiment I believe the CIA conducted in Guyana at Jonestown.
Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple, was a 70’s cult religion based in San Francisco, and eventually wound up in Guyana, Southern America, where Jones and his followers would eventually commit murder/suicide.

According to Michael Meiers, Jones used an “unseen” threat as a way “to bind his congregation together,” as well as a way to explain the armed guards and tall fence. Temple members reported shots in the night and people who “threw dead dogs onto the Temple grounds,” All the attacks were staged. The dogs were easily provided for by the Temple animal shelter, that housed the “unfortunate strays” and these were the dogs used in the attacks.
