Gives house a chance to pass bail outs, aka money for friends and family.

That’s what it’s about, people are just used like pawns for the desires of the ruling class. Ruling class needs their 3 trillion to keep ruling.

They need more dark money to continue fighting Trump.
Which is where all of the woke money will go. They wont be funding meals on wheels to roll on up in a Tomato Farm out in the boonies to feed the illegal Mexicans.
That money will go right to an ANTIFA troupe.

The $3 trillion bill, which Democrats are calling the Heroes Act, would provide nearly $1 trillion for state and local governments, a $200 billion fund for essential worker hazard pay, an additional $75 billion for Covid-19 testing, tracing and isolation efforts, and a new round of direct payments to Americans of up to $6,000 per household, according to a fact sheet released by the House Appropriations Committee.

This dwarfs the $2.3 trillion bill signed by Trump, which about 1/2 of it is loan guarantees to businesses.

Wonder how many AFSCME members will be labelled essential, along with their pensions.

"The Assistant to the Director of Diversity Policy at the DMV."
"The Janitorial Staff at the Human Resources Division of the Youth Programs Administration"

The Republicans in the Senate only have to string this out for another month. June 15 is when the State legislatures have to get the final budget to the governor's desk (at least in California...so I've heard).

Yep, the States have to already be planning for mass reductions in personnel, pay and benefits. They have to be doing that right now, just to have something in place come the next budgetary year. Those poor little stressed out "public servants" get to join the private sector in the economic black hole the governors have created.

This is the part that pisses me off. Sales taxes and one time taxes like amusement taxes for sporting events, concerts, etc. should be outlawed completely. This is why these big cities are fucked. At some point they need to clawback their pension promises instead of just taxing people more. Oh you have a cell phone? Well here's a tax for over the air digital transmission of signal tax of $1.47/mo.

I swear sometimes that they're either drinking or stoned when coming up with some of these taxes.

It legit doesn't bother me at all. I was just shocked because a dislike means that person WANTS MORE government. As this virus thing unravels and local governments are fucked, this dislike is going to look like pure retardation. Maybe a lobotomy candidate.

I've clicked stuff unintentionally while nodding off reading late at night on my cell phone.

It could be as simple as that.

Yep, there are people who believe the Economy is the Horn of Plenty and the RICH! WHITES! are just hoarding all the goodies for themselves.

If we have more Herbal Tea Drinking Matriarch PhDs in Social Welfare, repremanding and looking over the shoulder of disobedient people, we'll have Utopia or damn close to it. Same Robespierre bullshit again and again, in different variations. Radical Left not invented by Marx.

For sure possible. So maybe I'm going too hard on this. It's literally a vote so to speak for more taxes. That's nuts. It was also this morning. Maybe someone having a morning mimosa during quarantine?
14   clambo   2020 May 16, 9:32am

The shutdown is over politics; the good economy benefits Trump in the election in November, and anything that can fuck up the likely Trump voters and turn some against him is desired by the Democrats.

The bill to provide "assistance" is to buy votes after fucking up the economy.

The attack on the USA therefore has two components.

Pelosi was planning to steal the election by allowing vote (fraud) by mail because of the virus, even with the election months away.

I'm more afraid of Pelosi, Newsom and their ilk than any virus; I can protect myself from the virus with a mask and other measures; how do I protect myself from maniac Democrats once they get some power?

Added details.
Lots of handouts, and unrelated shit like voter laws, abortions, etc... partisan handout bill.

A Biden supporter... that is who it disliked it...someone who wants a welfare state, open borders, free passes to the ChiComs , unfair trade via globalism, constant apologies for American past wrongs, etc.

The $6k is to households. Not just "Americans", but to those with Tax Identification numbers as well as those with social security numbers. I figure this will be about $200 billion sent directly to illegals.

They are still holding back on reparation payments until closer to the elections.

Especially hidden taxes.

Let's compare 1gl regular gasoline prices between TX and CA. 10 years ago difference was $0.50. 5 years ago grown to $1.00. Now TX have $1.50 cheaper.
Have significant impact on all prices in CA. All in time where tankers idle on ocean begs CA to buy oil.
