I'm using my credit card for everything. I don't pay any interest as I never carry a balance beyond the end of the billing period.

Yes. Not all hookers take PayPal or Venmo.

Never carry cash. I like to sign up for new cc’s to get the points. Always pay off my cards right away and I make sure I don’t have too many cards at the same time. I maintain my 800+ fico scores at all times. Can’t even remember the last time I carried cash.

I use CC's for the points for sure. You should have $200-500 cash in your wallet at all times though. And I hate cash.

I use cash for everything possible.

If you pay with a CC, you also pay extra, by giving up your privacy.

Although I use my cash back credit cards for almost everything; I agree 'You should have $200-500 cash in your wallet at all times though.' Also I know the 'underground economy' is cash dependent. I mean tax-free and off-the-grid, not contraband economy.
Also you should beep cash on hand for natural disasters (not COVID or riots) because ATMs and credit card machines may not work, especially for gas.

I carry about 50 bucks on me at all times. Most of the times I swipe my credit card or pay using an app for Dunkin/Starbucks.

Privacy is dead. A CC isn't giving out any more information than say a utility company. You'd have to be off grid and own land in the middle of nowhere via a trust to even come close to protecting your privacy. Unless you're living off the land, you likely would need a vehicle, so there's even more privacy gone via license, registration and insurance. It's impossible to stay private. So I'll take the benefits of free vacations and flight with points.

I rarely use cash.
I realize I tend to not know how much I am spending this way.
Oh well.
Lately I am overly focused on my net worth rather my actual cash flow.
So, when I see my financial assets rise $100,000 in a brief time, I don’t give a shit about my spending.
However, I am not going out to restaurants or traveling so lately I’ve been spending very little.
I like the AAA credit card because I get “cash back” on shit I would buy anyway.
Also, the year end statement puts the spending in categories which was convenient for tax my return, now after Trump not so much ($12,000 standard deduction).
Interesting that only cash flow into my bank account makes me feel good.

Depends on where I am shopping. At a restaurant where you pay the wait staff directly I use cash. I don't want that credit card going out of my sight.
Let's say I'm on vacation. For the room yes I pay with a credit card. If I go shopping while on vacation at a nationwide chain, also credit card. for purchases made elsewhere wile out of town (often the Atlantic City boardwalk, or a similar type of place, like in Ocean City, MD) cash. If it's a small purchase almost anywhere, like under $5 cash as well.

I should be the biggest "Cash Only" person on the planet. But actually make all purchases by card.

When I get cash like when I split the lunch bill with a coworker and they give me cash. It goes right to one of my daughters or my wife, as soon as I see them.

Before the debit and credit cards, way back when I didn't have any credit worthiness. Cash always felt awkward.
It always ended up crumbled in my pockets, hand in the pocket to grab keys and ball of cash from a hundred I broke would fall out to never be seen again.

I have always been impressed by people who keep money in their wallet cleaned and pressed like dry cleaning.
