They are using modern technology, and doing a better job of carving by using heat to seal the surface and any natural cracks at the Crazy Horse Monument. If they do decide to carve into Mount Rushmore it will literally be better than with the outdated methods and technology. Though it will cost a lot more now than back then.

I get the point, but that's not how the other POTUS' faces were made. Call me a traditionalist I guess. Do it the same way if you're going to do it. They won't. It would have to be after he dies and IF there is a good legacy, maybe. I'm not seeing it though.

Barack Obama is in South Dakota today. He arrived there last night. Take
a look at this. He got a good glimpse of the majestic Mount Rushmore.
Well, South Dakota and Montana have closed out the primary season on
Tuesday.
