Earlier this week there was a shooting at a local bar in my district. This attorney belongs behind bars, pending a lengthy jury of his peers. I’m deeply disturbed watching this video and committed to a safe city.

Unfortunately, the Austin DA is apparently insane:

Rush was charged with a second-degree felony, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence. An emergency protection order was issued against him, and he was soon back on the streets after making a $40,000 bond, KVUE reported.

"For $4,000, you can get out, go home, watch Netflix after trying to murder your ex-girlfriend — are you kidding me?" one of the customers said.

I'd like to see that happening in the United States in other states besides Texas. Anybody using to use a gun to commit a robbery, they ought to be killed, since they are saying "I'm willing to kill". Well if you are, you're also willing to be killed.

Yep. In fact, if a person got in your face yelling at you, as far as I understand the laws, you are being agresses and have a right to defend yourself. What if a person raises their fist as if to strike you? You can defend. How is that any different from a person pulling a gun out?

I think somebody yelling at you, or even putting their first out, is QUITE a bit different than pulling a gun.

'Personal issues' led to deadly shooting at Amazon warehouse, Chandler police say

The suspected shooter was killed when an Amazon contracted employee returned fire, Chandler police said. One other person was hospitalized.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A would-be burglar was shot and killed by a homeowner Thursday night after he reportedly broke in through the window of a Vancouver house, police said.

Vancouver Police officers were called out at about 11:20 p.m. on reports of a burglary in progress at a home in the 2900 block of Northeast 157th Court.

According to police, someone broke a second story window and went inside of the home when he was confronted by the homeowner, who shot the suspect.

Arriving officers found the suspect dead.

The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting.

A Chicago carjacker has been killed after his intended victim slammed the car into an L-track support beam, sending him flying through the windshield.

The carjacker’s accomplice, a woman, was also injured in the carjacking attempt.

The victim was injured in the crash as well but managed to survive.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the deceased man as 18-year-old Elijah Treadwell.

Treadwell and his 16-year-old female accomplice entered an Infiniti FX35 in the 100 block of East Lake.

The thugs tried to carjack the woman at around 5:42 p.m.

However, the victim fought back, struggling with the two hooligans as the car accelerated into the L support column near Wabash Avenue.

All three were trapped inside the vehicle but witnesses say only half of Treadwell was trapped inside with the other half ejected and sticking halfway out the windshield.

Klaus Grabowski molested and murdered a 7 year old girl. He confessed to the crime after his fiancé reported him to police.

Marianne Bachmeier, the girls mother, smuggled a handgun into the courtroom and shot Grabowski 5 times. She served 3 years.
