#dukakisvsbush1 This will not be a repeat of the 1988 presidential election where Bush 1 came from behind and beat Dukakis. Bush 1 didn't have 250,000 virus deaths on election day and 20-40 million people unemployed.

If you want to know how non-self aware Michael Dukakis was, even decades later, he still didn't believe his limp dick response to furloughing criminals who kill their victims during those breaks (i.e. Willie Horton, no not the Canadian Donut shop, but an actual murderer) nor his tank ride, derailed his candidacy.

I mean give it a rest Mike!

You were a joke, the day you said that Massachusetts didn't have to worry about public college budgets when we have Harvard.

Please, give it a rest! We all know that Harvard has a $50B endowment and needs no additional funds from the state to survive.

And ppl say that Donald Trump is out of touch with reality when in fact, he's more in-tuned with the average worker bee who's facing outsourcing vs those Dukakis-types who'll pout theories that outsourcing 'lifts all boats' even though that worker will be out of a job.

And yes, Biden is a Dukakis-type.

Bidentia! Oh, I am so using that every day now.

Are you saying that because Biden is hiding out in his basement he won't be recording a TV ad.

I'd only leave off the last nationality as the former are Catholic and Orthodox, not Muslim. I give America a lot more credit than that.

Kennedy was the first Catholic President, but at least he had a White sounding name.

Catholics were political minorities in Federal Politics, even if they dominated local politics. But there was no way a Catholic Latin European Last name was going to be President until at least the middle 90's. Enough of the old school constituents that was a show stopper for died off. The hanging chad offenders were the last of that voting group.

America was predominantly Protestant and Baptist, Catholics with their Saint worshiping was seen as kooky and pagan to the collective American Christian constituency.

I live in Los Angeles and I gotta say I see about half the democratic lawn signs that I did in 2016, this even in a liberal part of the city.

Enthusiasm is WAY down.

I saw two large Trump flags flying at big beach homes in Carlsbad, CA yesterday while surfing. One house flying the flag is at a prominent intersection right next door to Vigilucci's Italian restaurant along Carlsbad Blvd and Tamarack Ave.

Last night while picking up pizza at Pizza Port, I saw a guy wearing a Trump 2020 facemask picking up his pizza.

I have not seen one single Biden sign yet.

I wore my Trump shirt to work last Thursday, I didn't get any negative feedback from any of the coworkers or anyone at work. But I went to that shitty horrendous gawd awful Publix for lunch near my job in Palm Aire. You should have seen the White and Jewish Old Liberal Commie Marxist scumbags giving me the dagger eyes, then looking at young Black or Latino people like "Don't you see THAT!? Get HIM! Do something!".
Every brown person I saw and said hello to, said hello back.

Ballsy. I like that. I think PoC aren’t nearly as radicalized as the media would have you believe. Many are actually on the fence of who they support, and many are secret Trump supporters. It’s the Libby white people who are the haters. And yes that includes Jews. Non-observant Jews are just white people who believe they should have special privileges.
