I wouldn't expect the same results from Pence as I would Trump. My vote might be 'No Confidence' in Pence, He has had 4 years and hasn't done shit.

If Trump dies before the election, it won't be because of Covid. It will just be another audacious assassination under color of Covid. However, the question is, what will the public perception be and how will it be handled.

It's anybody's guess, but the country is truly lost as a representative republic at that point, because there will never be anything resembling a free election in this country again. it will be one puppet after another controlled by Deep (Shallow) State. They will become increasingly aggressive, audacious and tyrannical, and it will take a true revolution to unseat them. It will justify every hatred of our country on the world stage since WWII.

I think republicans might try to delay the vote, stalling for time to try to get another R candidate quickly into a position that people could vote on. I dont know anything about how our election laws work, so dunno what's possible or likely, but maybe they would try to make a BS court case that will need time to get legally shot down, effectively stalling. Or maybe there's legit angles.

I'm not sure if there's any serious R candidates who did the paperwork in all the states to get on the ballot. I know some other R's ran, but not sure if they did the paperwork to make it legal in all the states, since they prob all dropped out by now.

Even dems might have some interest in helping R's get a candidate. I think there would be some really serious anger among all the Americans who would feel cheated that they were deprived of their ability to vote for a reasonable candidate they had time to get acquainted with. It would realllly feel like a rigged election.

If Biden won, he might be considered the most illegitimate president ever. Nobody trusts the polls, nevermind other stuff. People see Trump's huge crowds and enthusiasm, chants of "we love you", etc... compare it to Bidens meek following, and the lefts desperation, and their rabid vitriol and hatred .... and then Trump dies? It would be another JFK, with people arguing for decades about it.

I've heard lots of talk about civil war these past couple years and have always felt no way, were not that close yet. But an event like this could possibly do it, depending on how it played out.

I don't think it would though. I think Biden would win, followed by unrest, bitterness, and a new level of division & contempt. But not war level violence, just pockets of violence.

Well Trump is Trump and he’s taking the tack that Covid is no big thing when set against the therapeutics we have to combat it today.
Although I do think he’s just high on Dexamethasone and feeling good. That drug alone will probably turn around almost any Covid infection and clear up lung issues. High altitude mountain climbers use it to keep their lungs clear and not water logged as can happen when scaling very high mountains over a course of days and weeks.

Trump isn’t bowing to the Covid fear, he’s turning that tale on its head and modeling the optimist’s course through the pandemic. Basically, he’s saying that Covid is easily beaten now.

What happens when they harvest Trump’s plasma and clone it so they can offer Trumpian “tiger blood” for anyone battling Covid?

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to downplay this... but it is strange to see the amount of caution (or lack there of) generally fall along political lines.

Its a shame really. What ever happened to we all isolate for 14 days and this goes away? Or Flatten the curve. Now it's wait for a vaccine... but we can't rush a vaccine. Masks work, not they don't, yes they do...

If Trump dies before election (or is "deathly ill" by November) I predict Trump voters will mostly stay home and Biden will win. If the Dems grab the upper and lower houses as well as the oval office, that'll be the end of the country as we know it... next stop: Venezuela or Civil War II.

Here are my predictions:

- Trump and Melania get better, remain fine after that
- public consciousness starts to turn from "OMG we're all going to die!" to "huh, only 0.26% of the people who get this die, and they are all obese or in very poor health"
- the media desperately hypes the "OMG we're all going to die!" yet again and BIGGER AND LOUDER
- even more people realize the MSM is complete and utter bullshit, turning to the National Enquirer for much higher quality news than the MSM
- Trump wins by an even bigger margin than he would have otherwise
