WRT to Alex Jones - I think he's a buffoon - but not all his guests are. When, in the rare instance, I tune into him, it's to listen to his guest - not him. He gives people platforms to speak that otherwise would not have it. He had Ron Paul on several times.

I don't know. I know he's botched some things obviously. He was on Rogan the other day/week whenever. He was throwing out random shit and Jamie was looking it up and it seemed true most everything he was saying. I think he's cleaned up a bit. But when you're looking at fringe shit and researching it, you're going to come across as crazy to people that believe the MSM narrative.

Part of the problem is that we've labeled things conspiracy. It's just language. Just because someone says conspiracy, doesn't mean it can't be true. People by default now see that word and completely, 100% of the time discount it as being false without even looking into it. I don't know if this is a term or there's another term for it, but it's a word weapon from the media. Jones has not been 100% wrong, but they've weaponize the word "conspiracy" to try and shut him down.

Footnote: I don't believe I've even accessed his website, so this isn't a defense of him, but more of a focus on how even when you're correct on something, you'll get squashed by the media.

Agree with most of what you said. But we humans have a tendency of seeing things too negatively. We don't know how things will turn out but yeah currently it's not looking that great though we still have enough freedom to care for the ones we care about and live a good life. Btw. If you're in SV you should hit up Patrick and come to an informal meetup sometime. We had one or two this summer but only Patrick and rox42 were there.

This is the biggest most difficult thing to do - to get a person to realize they've been fooled. Seriously, listen to that presentation, and try to find ANYTHING in it that is claimed is untrue but 9/11 was a series of compounding unlikely events, if it wasn't planned. I hope you're right, but I've found it's much safer to adopt the position of pessimism. Trump has done some AMAZING feats. The most important things he's done is shaken people's faith in our main propaganda, our "news", and has gotten many of them to question the integrity of our "institutions" - the criminal syndicate.

I've been trying to do that for 20 years. This is why the 25th amendment was slapped on Trump - Trump, you don't realize yet, would be called "a conspiracy theorist" if he was outspoken and middle or bellow middle class.
