Despite being 82 years old with dementia, the former actress from Gilligan's island dies from Covid. The rest of her life of not knowing where she was at the nursing home was snatched from her by the invisible enemy.

She was still a good looking woman right up to her death.

Anyone who is 82 with dementia has a life expectancy of negative one year.

Blasted in the peak of her vibrancy. Extend the shutdown at least another three years because of this.

They honestly should be Kevorkian'd. It's a sad and nasty illness. I don't wish it upon any family, as that usually is who has to deal with it.

I collect sports cards and went to a show a couple years ago where a few older b and c list celebs had booths. Dawn Wells was one of them. She liked damned good for being in her late 70’s.

She was far too young to die. Struck down in the prime of her life.

You mean her Death Certificate was coded for COVID. Probably not the primary Cause, but the CDC mandates any death that was involved with COVID is a COVID death,

I was seriously considering copying and pasting this to a few other fourms, but didn't because I'll probably get banned just for this.

@rocketjoe79

The CARES Act (bogusly named, as all recent laws are) provides a 20% extra payout for hospitals that classify a death as due to Wuhan Virus. This can be up to a $30,000 incentive to fudge the records, or to classify, say, a cancer death as a Wuhan Virus death if the very unreliable test comes up positive for Wuhan Virus.

People didn't have sex on tv back then. Even married couples had to have separate beds in any bedroom scenes. That's why Gilligan and the Skipper had bunk beds.

Gilligan and the Skipper were married? The show was ahead of its time! i guess the update would have Gilligan as a tranny and the Skipper as an immense hirsute lesbian.

I think, but I'm not certain, that one of the breakthroughs of All In the Family, was the Edith and Archie were the first television couple to sleep in the same bed.

And incidentally, it wasn't unusual for couples to sleep in separate beds at the time. I had relatives that were 2 generations ahead of me that had separate beds. It's not that their marriage was bad, it's just they needed their fucking sleep.
