Saying we need not worry about extreme leftoidism is like saying it is OK to cut off one's foot compared to slitting one's throat. The plain old leftism of Pelosi/Schumer/Biden will open the floodgates to illegals, export jobs to China, and keep the graft lines open. My bet is that we will see more opposition to leftoid policies in local governments as cities spiral out of control, often the dynamics on the federal stage are reversed to that one in the local communities, cities and states. We shall see.

The Dems have already said the moment they have the votes the Filibuster is gone, and BOTH Manchin and Sinema, the defectors stopping them last time, are out of office now.

People still think we live in an era where Dems and Reps are a step away from each other and the Fillibuster encourages collegiate, compromise behavior between two groups that basically agreed, but with some priority differences.

When Democrats could win a primary against other Democrats by being tougher on crime, or more fiscally responsible, or against welfare cheats who needed to work. Hell, they could try that on Republican opponents sometimes.

We're long past that era.
