This follows a health order issued by the State of California. Employees who are exempted — either due to religious or medical reasons — will be tested regularly.
The state also ordered that hospitals, skilled nursing centers and intermediate care facilities must verify that visitors indoors are either fully vaccinated or have tested negative for the coronavirus within 72 hours of their arrival. This goes into effect on Aug. 11, and will be enforced at all Scripps hospitals and facilities where enhanced visitor restrictions continue to remain in place.
These actions by the state were expected given the rapid spread of the COVID-19 delta variant and the very real threat of more variants to come. Scripps is fully in support of these two mandates as we believe it will provide the safest health care environment for our patients and staff.

The information in your digital vaccine record is the same information from your paper vaccine card, including name, date of birth, vaccine date(s) and the type of vaccine received. The digital record also includes a QR code that, when scanned by a SMART Health Card reader, will display to the reader your complete vaccine record for COVID-19.

Vaccines administered at other locations, including the Scripps Del Mar Fairgrounds Vaccination Super Station, may not be available in MyScripps until the fall of 2021. If you did not receive your vaccine at a Scripps location, you can generate a QR code through the State of California.

The tests used must have either FDA emergency use authorization or meet the Laboratory Developed Test requirements of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This state mandate does not apply to clinics and regular doctor’s appointments. We hope this helps clarify the intent of the mandate.

I can see these forced covid tests getting more and more "unpleasant" for the victims out of spite that they aren't complying with the regime's demands.

quick update....I had a number of health issues after getting the jab. (mainly high inflammation, body aches and fatigue).

Followed some of RIN's advice and it has helped tremendously.
Taking D3, Zinc, Quercetin, multi-vitamins, turmeric, tart cherry and following a high fat-low carb diet. I cut out alcohol and red meats completely. Taking organic-plant-based protein shakes, tofu, salmon and some chicken.
Besides feeling much, much better, I perform significantly better in riding my mountain bike, hiking and lifting weights. Haven't felt that good since a long time.

All totalitarian governments ensure their survival by redistributing the population across the land in order to prevent solidarity or loyalty to home and community. Don't mistake people quitting and finding new jobs and new homes as "voluntary."

Just heard about this on broadcast radio. They gleefully talked about how the antivaxxers would be forced to jump through painful hoops until the FDA comes to their senses and approves the jab so they would be forced to take it.

I think a lot of this can be explained as a massive revenge murder-suicide for electing Trump.

FDA can't approve it according to its own guidelines. If FDA approves, it is the depth and thoroughness of the corruption. CDC, WHO, HMOs, NIH, Medical Schools, medical journals, so why not FDA being Mengele as well? As long as you are destroying credibility, why stop at FDA?

Except if it is as dangerous as we fear, they are taking out a lot more dems than Trump'ers. I have some in-laws (Progressives? Liberals? Socialists? COMMUNISTS!) that managed to sneak ahead in the line because it was so cool to be one of the first to get the jab. They were desperate to get "back to normal" after almost a year into lockdown and figured the jab was their passport back.

They're still waiting as far as I know. My "antivaxxer conspiracy theories" have kind of alienated them.
