seriously, just stop for one minute and really consider this:
dear citizen, our city has roving bands of violent thieves breaking into homes. mostly they just want your car. so leave your car keys out like milk and pastries for santa and perhaps the robbers will stop in the foyer and not come into the rest of your house to steal the rest of your things and menace you and/or your family.
let that one sink in. ...
this is just horrific. it’s not even remotely sane or reasonable. it’s not productive. every single thing about it is calculated to not only make you feel unsafe but to make those who would prey upon you feel safer.
it’s surrender.
you’re to hide, defenseless in your home, cowering and offering up tribute to the roving gangs of brigands that they might be satiated and leave the TV alone. the fact that you could be defended or defend yourself is not even considered…
time after time, “crime waves” like this are found to be perpetuated by small groups of people who commit A LOT of crimes. when the lojack system rolled out, it rapidly resulted in the capture of the big auto theft rings and after a very small number of arrests, overall auto theft collapsed to the point where the lojack system itself failed as a business because it had eradicated its own market demand by working too well. ...
consider the solution that the toronto PD is not suggesting (apart from doing their own job):
get yourself a pump action shotgun. learn to use it. keep it handy. if someone breaks in your door, let them hear you rack it. if this does not deter them, then defend your home as you see fit. castle doctrine is truly the only just law of any land in this regard. if you come and try to take from me that which is mine, you have stepped outside the social contract and my rights to property and self-defense now stand paramount.

The reason people masked up and took an injection, is because they are ignorant.
Don't you mean 'because they are fucking morons'?
Exhibit A, B...Z: The idiots I still see today driving alone in their cars with their masks on.
Man Shot in Head on NYC Subway, Passengers Sent Scrambling to Escape
ZeroHedge ran a creepy story yesterday headlined, “"What Are We Doing?" Ana Kasparian Flips Out After Suspects In Murder, Dismemberment Case Released In New York.” Yep. It’s just as demonic as it sounds. It’s the latest, and worst, squatter story yet, involving meat cleavers, body parts, so much blood officials condemned the home, and all that with zero bail required from the promptly-released criminals.
Bail shouldn’t even have on been on the table. New York’s mentally-handicapped democrat officials have lost their ever-loving minds. ...
Kasperian, a popular local news commenter in New York, was once an all-in “progressive.” But she has been steadily red-pilled by the nonstop series of lunatic blue policies since the pandemic. At one point in her highly-animated commentary, Kasperian howled, “If being on the left means supporting this, then I’m not on the left, and I’m okay with that. What are we doing? What are we doing Jake? What the F- are we doing?”
The story was that four squatters were recently arrested in a New York home after being accused of dismembering two adult bodies so gruesomely that "there was so much blood in pipes, sink, shower and toilet… that it was deemed uninhabitable.” They were inhabiting the home anyway. Worst of all, after their arrest, the four involved were immediately released, thanks to the state’s ‘progressive’ bail reform laws.
The arrestees were not charged with murder, for some inexplicable reason, except for the obvious possibility that a murder charge would have required bail.
Under New York’s 2019 bail reform laws, charges of mutilation and disposing of murdered corpses are no longer bail eligible. Prosecutors cannot ask for bail, and suspects cannot be remanded to custody.
So.

Current academy classes are completing at less than half the rate of attrition. And of those, more than half intend to leave in less than 3 years.
This is one of the very largest departments in the nation, and the one that all eyes are on. And it’s failing.
Good job Democrats and their mouth breathing voters. You sure showed us.

Just wait until LA states filling these positions with illegals. Hello 3rd world style protection rackets and extortion traffic stops.
It’s already happening.
Police in LA raid warehouse FILLED with shoplifted goods ...
Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens all sent their own investigators to figure out which products, of the $100,000+ bust, belong to which stores.
"This is random because it's all stolen products so you see everything from food products, household products, everything you can think of that's stolen," says Captain Calvin Mah from the LA County Sheriff's department.
What's even crazier is that Los Angeles has become such a hub for crime that thieves from across the southwest are using LA as a sort of distribution center for stolen products.
The sheriff's department got information from investigators for CVS. The haul includes more than $100,000 in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics taken from stores in Arizona, Nevada and California.

What happens at Big Lots when you pursue a shoplifter who has assaulted one of your employees and then report the shoplifting assaulter to the police?
You get fired, that's what happens. At least in New York.
Yes, Pat Guider lets shoplifters exit his store all the time. It's the store's policy; they simply document the shoplifting and move on. But this time was different. Guider witnessed a shoplifter take a swing at one of his employees, so he called the police and followed the shoplifter at a distance once he left the store.
And apparently this was too much for Big Lots, because they fired him for it.
Pat Guider, a manager at a Big Lots store in New York, was terminated after over 20 years of service for pursuing a shoplifter who assaulted an employee and then informing the police about the incident.
On May 10, Guider witnessed a shoplifter swing a punch at his assistant manager while attempting to leave the store. Concerned for the safety of his team, Guider followed the assailant at a distance through the parking lot while providing updates to 911. Two weeks after the incident, Guider was summoned to his district manager's office and informed of his termination. He expressed frustration over the decision, maintaining that he acted correctly in response to a violent situation.
Although Big Lots has not commented specifically on Guider's case, the company has a policy displayed in-store prohibiting employees from leaving the premises to pursue or detain customers. However, Guider defended his actions, emphasizing that he did not endanger the store or any customers who were present at the time.

Secret Service member robbed at gunpoint during Biden’s weekend California trip
The public wants to help. But we are hamstrung, though, because media isn’t providing much detail about the humiliating incident, for obvious reasons. Mostly political. The Hill didn’t disclose the Agent’s gender, referring to him or her as “them” and “they.” Maybe it’s fair, though, since these days you can’t just assume a Secret Service Agent’s gender regardless of which equipment was installed at birth.
