Went up by $30+ bucks today. Wanted to buy some today with money I was prepared to loose. Too late for today. Haven't been to a movie theater in years, makes little sense to me.

An impressive move.

It's not about the value of the stock, it's about screwing the shorts, probably mostly hedge fund bastards.

there is no question that what they did was disruptive and threatening to one of the world’s most formidable power centers, as evidenced by the near-panic that set in at CNBC, the media epicenter of corporatism and Wall Street reverence. Mainstream discourse contained numerous explicit expressions of rage over the fact that the wrong people were manipulating the Wall Street casino.

I totally like what the little guys are doing. Playing the game that previously required bankster cred to participate.

Didn't china just buy AMC?

I was trading this at $2.xx during the pandemic. I think I sold around $3.xx lol

Cavuto and Gasparino were bitching and moaning about $400 retail buys of AMC. Tried to shut down Charles Payne defending the Apes of the 8th Retail Army.

"Retail Investor Kids shouldn't be short squeezing the poor Hedge Funds, boo hoo"

My tombstone will read: He did not HODL. Regrets, I've had a few...

There was no way to know. Such trading moves are essentially random, not based on fundamentals.

No rug rats!

Given the public whining from hedge funds when the WallStreetBets hordes were squeezing the GME shorts, I have no doubt that hedge funds were hurt on that one at least.

Gary Gordon of Seeking Alpha wrote a long, fatherly/uncle-y piece about how good young guys should be smart, and get out of AMC.

The original headline was "Emotion may tell you to buy. Reason will tell you to sell."

Finally, we get down to the little disclosure notice at the bottom of the page: He's short AMC and has written calls on it.

BWAHAHA. Don't be emotional, for the (Sam Kinison Voice) LOVE OF GOD YOU ASSHOLE KIDS, GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE STOCK BEFORE I GET BURNED ON MY SHORT POSITION AND ESPECIALLY THE CALLS I SOLD!!!

I was just about to post the same link. It's in my copy buffer. It addresses this exactly.

I always listen to war room when I'm in the hot tub because there are no commercials I need to skip through like what happens with u tub. I haven't even dried off fully yet. That's how long ago I heard that haha.
