UPDATE: Dr. Sohrab Lutchmedial, a cardiologist in New Brunswick, Canada, died in his sleep in November 2021, reportedly from a heart defect. He was 52.

I was on run/walk machine for an hour at the gym. On TV monitor was a soccer game, I don't know who or where. At least four players taken off the field from various collapses while I was on my machine for an hour. I wasn't even watching for most of the time.

I was surprised at the first one, but they kept coming like punctuation marks. I suppose there could have been injuries as in all sports, but I never remember a soccer game having so many in such a short period of time.

The Rollout of COVID-19 Booster Vaccines is Associated With Rising Excess Mortality in New Zealand

Abstract: The rollout of booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines to the general population is controversial. The ratio of vaccine risk to benefits likely has swung more towards risk than during the original randomized trials, due to dose-dependent adverse events and to fixation of immune responses on a variant no longer circulating, yet the evidence underpinning mass use of boosters is weaker than was the evidence for the original vaccine rollout. In light of an unsatisfactory risk-evidence situation, aggregate weekly data on excess mortality in New Zealand are used here to study the impacts of rolling out booster doses. Instrumental variables estimates using a plausible source of exogenous variation in the rate of booster dose rollout indicate 16 excess deaths per 100,000 booster doses, totaling over 400 excess deaths from New Zealand's booster rollout to date. The value of statistical life of these excess deaths is over $1.6 billion. The age groups most likely to use boosters had 7-10 percentage point rises in excess mortality rates as boosters were rolled out while the age group that is mostly too young for boosters saw no rise in excess mortality.

An 11 year old boy in my son's class just collapsed this afternoon, onto his back, holding his heart. He was bleeding from the mouth and taken by ambulance.

He was one of the sportiest boys in the class.

And yes,he was vaxxed😡

I have no issue pushing the message about a BS vaccine, but didn't intelligent people know this from the word go? A vaccine for a virus that is generally mild in the vast majority of people that it's laughable.

I know some users here had a rough go of it, but was it really that bad? You got the covid diagnosis which means you can do nothing for like 2 weeks. Take your medicine and get high or something. I'm sure some feel like shit, but it's a pass to do nothing for 7 -14 days and you know you're not going to be sick that whole time. It's probably really only 1-3 days of feeling shitty.

I told my wife when she shared that story that I suspected that Anne threw a clot and stroked out while driving. One does not simply drive full speed into someone’s house without mitigating factors like traffic or inebriation beyond all reason or losing consciousness.

Now that she say she’s toast I’ll bet it was a stroke.
