Iceland, Gibraltar (entirely vaccinated, 3rd highest infections in Europe) and Israel, let alone high profile if anecdotal evidence.

These vaccines, while reducing severe symptoms, do not appear even to reduce transmission. The sole rationale for vaccine passports has evaporated.

Social distanciation and masks are back in one the most vaccinated nations of the world: Iceland.

Yesterday, 82% of the new cases were fully vaccinated.

The vax are nearly 100% effective at spreading the spike protein. And the good news is, that if your body doesn’t have enough spike protein, you can get another shot of Vitamin S for free!

but even on top of this nasty oppressive campaign of “jim covid” (which looks, based on demographic patterns for vaccination more and more like actual jim crow) another jarring issue arises:

it’s been pretty wild watching the exact same people who have spent a decade declaiming any and all attempts to require ID to vote in america as racist attempts at voter suppression to disenfranchise minorities who lack ID or are uncomfortable providing it (a near 100% baseless claim) flip to demanding not just proof of vaccination (which minorities disproportionately lack) but ALSO these same ID’s that are apparently too difficult to obtain for voting.

i mean, how is anyone supposed to take that dichotomy seriously?

There's no enforcement mechanism outside a few people/businesses that get caught with their pants down. Businesses themselves won't enforce this. They might ask to see "something" but they're not picking up the phone and calling to verify. This is retarded and stupid on so many levels. Hence my push to get the fuck out of any city 100k plus.
