Regular Joe fights the system, and wins! So far, anyhow. Looks like his adversary is being swapped with the Crown.

They fined him $1200 for public appearance violating health orders. He demanded they show evidence that proves they have isolated Covid as part of his defense. Health minister cannot.

I'm sure they'll regroup and come back at this guy, but in the meantime, all the orders are dropped. They can't quarantine you even if you test positive now.

This is the second documented instance of public health agencies failing or refusing to provide proof covid was ever properly isolated. First was in Ireland.

So we are all fucked if a real pandemic occurs.

That’s always been the case. You’re on your own in the event of an Act of God. Or even An Act of Mass destruction. We live in a dangerous world and your death is 100% certain (at some point). Plan accordingly.

Quarantines are never supposed to be imposed upon the healthy anyway.

Is this a law somewhere, or just good policy?

Either way, it's being grossly violated.

A bit of a downer on this case. It was mentioned that this case had nothing to do with the removal of the orders and that it was done as Alberta had reached it's vaccination target numbers instead.

Podcast or article? I couldn't find any primary sources proving correlation except the podcast. The articles I saw were all pro-slavery, just railing against the government for removing the restrictions.
