Good sentiment, but two ironies:
1. The rich have more "ballots" and can out vote you.
2. The gov can take your "ballots" (taxes) and cast those votes how they like.
Both true.
I suspect that favored businesses don't care about boycotts because somehow unlimited newly printed money is directed their way.
They hypnotized us with the Beefy Crunch Burrito and other drive-thru Mexican delicacies, and now they're guiding us into the new globalist nightmare through cashless restaurants.
During an earnings call earlier this month, parent company Yum! Brands, Inc. addressed plans to eventually move to 100% digital sales at its restaurants.
This includes fast food chains like Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC.
If you're going to switch us off a cash-based society, this is the way to do it.
Just four weeks ago, I reported how a prediction by Australian “conspiracy theorists,” falsely debunked by the press, became reality in just three months.
That story was about certain Australians who predicted that the government would move their country to become a “cashless society.” Those people were soundly debunked and called crazy right-wing conspiracy theorists by the Australian press. Then, three months later, the Australian government decided to move towards a cashless society, indeed.
At the time, I thought that three months from a conspiracy theory being debunked to the same theory coming true was fast.
Boy, was I wrong! Australia just outdid itself.
According to an excerpt from the book, during an interview Musk asked biographer Isaacson, "How am I in this war?" He explained, "Starlink was not meant to be involved in wars. It was so people can watch Netflix and chill and get online for school and do good peaceful things, not drone strikes."
Well. I suspect Starlink also has a little something to do with a replacement digital currency, which can only possibly work as a cash replacement if there is 100% reliable connectivity everywhere all at once. But that’s a subject for a different post.
Starlink is funded by DoD, so that's bullshit right out of the gate.
On the necessity of a worldwide system, I don't see it at all. If they're able to herd even 95% of the population into large cities(definitely the plan), why give a shit about the rest? They won't. At least not until they have achieved their vision for a slave world with the majority.
Their goal is not to simply control everything, but also to eliminate the majority of people.
The time to worry is when all currency is recalled and the new shit doesn't have that phrase - that's how it's all been done before.

I agree that the present currency can be used for all debts but that doesn't mean that a merchant has to let you incur a debt to begin with
I've been to about a dozen restaurants and cafes now which simply refuse to even let you place an order without a credit card. That seems like a serious step toward eliminating cash. I always leave and tell them why.
You're probably too courteous in that you ask before you're served.
Those places won't even let me order until I give a credit card.

Is that because the restaurant had too many walk away without paying customers?

I'm seeing plenty of mom & pop joints offering around 5% discount for CASH MONEY.
Republicans are moving to block Democrat President Joe Biden and his administration from rolling out a “digital dollar” to replace physical cash across America.
The Biden admin has been working on implementing a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
The centralized digital currencies are designed to replace traditional cash but are engineered to have in-built control mechanisms.
The plan has been heavily pushed by unelected globalist organizations, including the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations (UN), and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
A key part of the CBDC agenda is to create so-called “cashless societies” that would governments and bureaucratic agencies greater control over the general public.
As architects of the plan have gloated, CBDCs allow for individuals’ spending to be tracked, monitored, and controlled.
Those whose spending habits indicate that they have a large “carbon footprint,” for example, could be punished.
In a more extreme example, those found to engage in “hate speech,” i.e. “misgendering” someone on social media, could have their funds restricted, denying their ability to buy food in their “cashless society.”
As one WEF speaker recently boasted, CBDCs could be used to control what people can buy by placing blocks on “less desirable items” such as “ammunition” and guns.
Led by House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), the Central Bank Digital Currency Anti-Surveillance State Act has resurfaced.
The bill seeks to stop the Federal Reserve’s exploration of a digital version of the dollar.
As Slay News reported, in March, Biden ordered Fed Chair Jerome Powell to advance plans for a CBDC, a move that could significantly influence monetary policies.
But yeah - they don't want cash - fuck them. You're probably too courteous in that you ask before you're served. I'd wait till the end to have that argument, then call 911 and show the cops the cash notes. It should be hilarious.
I think you should return and order, and just have cash on you. Over and over.
Please email me the name of that cafe. Maybe I'll do it.
I literally cannot open that link without doing a ton of work, because I have multiple layers of blocking of all Google domains on my computers.
Could you just email me the name? Sorry for the trouble.
I agree about not patronizing places that won't answer the phone.
I tried with Brave's TOR gateway, but it hanged for about a minute, so I gave up.
I block all Google domains with /etc/hosts and Little Snitch, and some other firewall thing I set up so long ago I can't remember how it works.

They have a window where you can order a beer while you are waiting. So I ordered a beer and they refused to take cash.
OK, I wanted the beer, so I paid with a credit card. Then the total had an extra $1.50 on it. I asked about that and was told that I added a tip. I specifically did not add a tip because I was pissed that they don't take cash.
I got the manager and made him remove the tip.
We are rapidly approaching the CCP utopia of complete tracking of all citizens at all times.
Lesson: call ahead and make sure a restaurant will take cash. If they will not, don't go there.
