Anyone ever had this work?

All I ever get back is a form letter, stating the reps view. Basically FU unless you're in agreement.

I just send a brief opinion against vaccine mandates, not expecting much...

I do think that the inundation of calls to our supposed "representatives" in Sacramento did result in a delay in imposing the vaxxport in California.

Or maybe they just wanted to wait until after the recall. That would be good, implying that voting is not useless.

Yes I think it works if enough people do it. Then the Congressfucks get worried and decide whether the cause du jour is really worth sticking their necks out for.

I got the same thing.

The only time I get a real response is from somebody running for office, that isn't already in, and they are some underdog.

The algorithm of our election system is flawed.

Candidates are far more answerable to their funders than to the electorate.

One solution may be publicly funded campaigns, giving people who refuse to accept bribes the potential to win the election.

But currently, I think it is necessary for all candidates to accept bribes in order to get elected, or to be a billionaire like Trump.

My representative is Chinese-spy-fucking Eric fucking Swalwell who literally threatened to nuke his own constituency. Do you really think gives a flying fuck about anything I'd write to him?
