My wife does it with roads. She's private side. ALL the government employees/engineers she sells to all go into "consulting" once they retire and start collection 6 figure pensions AND get paid 6 figures. Usually at about 52-55. Dick around at golf outings making $150k plus the pension and then officially retire at 62-70ish. They just print money basically.

My wife does well so I'm not complaining. I've brought this up before, if you retire with a government pension you should have that pension reduced if you're making income elsewhere. Some percentage scale. To keep it simple, your pension is 100 but you're making 100 in retirement doing other stuff. Your pension should be cut to 20. It would balance the budget on EVERY pension system in the country almost overnight.

For fucks sake you retired. Actually retire. A hobby that makes some money is one thing, but in most pension systems you didn't pay in what you're getting in retirement market wise.

We analyse the relation between covid-19 vaccinations and all-cause-mortality in N=340 Dutch municipalities (17.3M people, ~99% of population), during the entire pandemic period. We do not use covid-19-attributed mortality, mortality predictions and excess mortality, thereby bypassing the ambiguities of case-identification and mortality-modeling. Municipal demographics such as age, culture and population density are strong confounders of mortality and vaccine-uptake. We account for these by normalizing results to prepandemic year 2019, where covid was absent but demographics were highly representative for later years. Normalized to 2019, we found no correlation between municipal mortality in 2020 with vaccination uptake in 2021, which shows the effectiveness of our confounder accounting. We could not observe a mortality-reducing effect of vaccination in Dutch municipalities after vaccination and booster campaigns. We did find a 4-sigma-significant mortality-enhancing effect during the two periods of high unexplained excess mortality. Our results add to other recent findings of zero mRna-vaccine effectiveness on all-cause mortality, calling for more research on this topic.

Meaningless data. We need to see it as a percentage of the vaccinated versus unvaccinated.

If 99% of the population is vaccinated and they have 80% of the deaths, and 1% is unvaccinated and they have 20% of the deaths, then vaccination increases longevity.

I'm annoyed these data sets are provided, because superficially they seem to make a point, but that goes away once you put a tiny bit of thought into it.

If all cause mortality is higher among the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated, then, and ONLY then MIGHT you have a point. We don't have a control group, so perhaps not. It may be that people that are healthy and young refused the vaccination, and that the older and sicker population decided to get the vaccination. Then we'd expected the older and sicker generation to have a higher all cause mortality regardless of the vaccination status.

The big warning sign here is there isn't a control group in a double blind study. As far as I know, this study, the OBVIOUS AND STANDARD study has been avoided. For that reason alone, I consider the vaccines dangerous and useless. They didn't even test them. All this shit is, at best, theoretical.

I personally doubt the vaccines are useful, and I personally believe they are harmful, but it's quite obvious that there's every effort to made to hide the data to determine this.

This is very disturbing because it suggests not only that the vaccines give negative ‘protection’ after a few months but also that they destroy the protection that should have been provided by natural immunity. The unvaccinated keep their protection from previous infection but the vaccinated end up with negative efficacy even if they’ve been previously infected. This means the vaccines appear to demolish a person’s natural immunity and leave him or her more vulnerable to infection than he or she was before.
