No. I've known a ton of people within 5 years my age that got it. Probably 50 now, maybe more. Only one has gotten ill enough to visit a doc and he's a pussy.

Am I sick, sure. It's like a 2-3 on a 10 scale. My biggest issues is the smell and taste. I thought when I'd get this I'd still be able to smell something burning, like a fire or pan. I literally smell nothing. Zilch. 2nd is the fatigue. I have not been this tired in a long time. Otherwise I feel fine. Knees have aches and nasal issues are super easy to control with spray. I'll likely work out tomorrow for the first time in a while.

By the way, the graph below posted by has been debunked. The rise in uncategorized deaths is normal every year until the CDC can categorize them. He even admitted the error. It was an honest error because he didn't know that this lag and rise is what happens every year.

Do you really believe that will happen?

I think that they just produced a bad product, and we are inching toward a complete distrust of authority. The people running this US (and the west in general) are useful idiots - intended to discredit both a free market system which we are SUPPOSEDLY in, but aren't in, and to discredit a democratic/republic system which again, we are supposedly in, but aren't.

We've been subverted by showing how easy it is to place incompetents into power but we're going to be deceived in how these incompetents were placed into power. The expectation is that we will believe we actually elected representatives therefore we need "experts" to make the decisions, when in reality, 1/2 the people in power, perhaps more, were never elected. I don't even believe 1/2 the people placed into positions of authority in corporations were picked due to their competence, but rather the BOD insisted that they were, and we don't know who the BOD takes orders from.

I have great faith in the "dumb populace". It's just a genetic algorithm. When I can get the rare glimpse of the true majority and I disagree with them, 99% of the time, they're right and I'm wrong.

This is not a democracy or a republic or a free market. I'm certain that the Federal Reserve directly pumps money into the stock market, to sink real competitors.

In spite of what President Potato Head and the CDC Director (!) said, the vaccines do not prevent transmission. It is medical malpractice to not be out in the open about this. And vaccine passports and other discriminatory policies directed towards the unvaccinated presumably to reduce the spread of the virus have no validity. Clearly a red flag pointing out the sheer incompetence of "leaders" or something more sinister.

The best the gene therapies do is give a transient rise in narrowly specific antibodies, which are claimed to prevent hospitalization and serious illness for some period of time. But if you are healthy to start, this benefit is trivial and uneeded. And the possibility of adverse events in those whose immune system is protective without gene therapy vaccination, and the hijacking of a healthy immune system and the creation of what is essentially vaccine dependancy - criminal.

It's not even about transmission to other people, that's been known. They literally did not even work on anyone in our groups that had spreading events. They were all sick to some degree or another vaccinated or not. We are talking 0% efficacy in a small group. That goes against everything being spit out by our government and media. There was no reduction in symptoms for those that got covid prior to being vaccinated. At least 3 people had covid before.

Frankly I don't know how this stuff is even EUA at this point. No known longer term effects and none of the vaccines work. 100% breakthrough cases is not a working vaccine.

This might be a good time to remind you that much of Western Europe hit Marks’s magic number months ago. In countries like Britain, 70 percent (okay, 69.3!) of people - not adults, the entire population - is fully vaccinated. And about 30 percent of Britons have now received a third dose.

If you analyze using more “realistic” numbers, their claim is even more preposterous
Now, can we use REAL numbers? The best numbers for lives saved are always in the DB-RCT trials. We have one for Pfizer which showed that the vaccine saved a net total of 1 life for ever 22,000 fully vaccinated people. There were two placebo COVID deaths, and only one COVID death in the vaccinated group: a 50% reduction in death rate.

Let’s see how our numbers work out now with this more reasonable assumption (which again, I’m not conceding is correct).

I’m going to just round the numbers to make the math easier. 100 dead in the Trump group and a more realistic 50% effective death reduction vax. That means that we would have started with 100/.75=133 people dead with no vaccine. So if we had (optimistically) a 75% vaccination rate, then 133*.75=100 people of which only 50 would die plus the 33 who didn’t get vaxed and die. So 83 people would die. So 100/83=1.2 or a 20% better outcome for the Biden group.

Again, that’s even worse (as we knew it would be). It’s not even close to the factor of 3 claimed.

In short, you can’t make the math work here.

And then there is the confounding about the dates chosen, and the different demographics. Where is the analysis of that? It doesn’t exist. Just handwaving.

I could see how a 70+ year old, out of shape could get fucked over by this. The smell sucks, but the fatigue is nothing I've ever felt before.

I quit coffee years ago, but I think I'm going back to it temporarily tomorrow until I get better. Or find a buddy with some cocaine. Not a joke. It's been a good 5 days of sleeping 16-18 hours a day. Up for 2-3 and then down. I'll sit at the computer and dose off and I'm out for 2-3 hours. It's fucked up. I have to set alarms for kids stuff as the wife is out of town.

I don't feel bad though physically. Just sleeping, yet I don't feel rested at all. It's weird.

Just standard supplements. Upped D3 to 5k IU. Doubled my zinc intake. And just some regular daily vitamins. Coffee makes me too jumpy for the fatigue. The cocaine thing was a joke even though I said it wasn't. I've never taken it in my life and not about to start now. I do think it would help or some speed, lol. My sarcasm game is all over the place sometimes.

All the people I know that have gotten it, fatigue was the symptom that hit them hardest for my age group. Just no energy. I feel mostly fine though. It's weird. I'm able to do what ever I want. Have even worked out. Just start falling asleep on my feet after 2-4 hours of activity. Maybe not the healthiest, but I have lost 8lbs this week since I'm sleeping so much. About 5-6lbs from my year end goal weight after fracturing my heel. Down about 45 since January. About 15 away from optimal body weight for my height.

The loss of smell/taste is crazy. I don't want to eat because I'm like what's the damn point? I'm not enjoying it. I'm snacking on a few healthy things I normally wouldn't because I can't taste it. So still getting food nutrition. Good idea for a weight loss pill honestly. A way to cut smell and taste if you could. For me it would work. I think it could work for a lot of people.

The only thing I feel somewhat bad about is we have not quarantined. Kids are going to sports/school. Wife is about to go to a xmas party with 2k people. I think we're going to see a massive increase in cases over the next 3-4 weeks. The vaccinated think they're safe, they're not.

Coronavirus vaccines do not stop infection, transmission, or bad health outcomes including death. After nearly 500 million doses in the U.S., all-cause mortality and COVID-19 deaths have increased. Doubling down on vaccination, with three, four, or infinite doses or even reformulated doses will not stop the pandemic. This virus was always a bad candidate for a vaccine and mRNA and adenovirus vectors are no great breakthrough and no panacea.
