In 1943, the Lutheran pastor and member of the German resistance, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, was arrested and incarcerated in Tegel Prison. There he meditated on the question of why the German people—in spite of their vast education, culture, and intellectual achievements—had fallen so far from reason and morality. He concluded that they, as a people, had been afflicted with collective stupidity (German: Dummheit).

He was not being flippant or sarcastic, and he made it clear that stupidity is not the opposite of native intellect. On the contrary, the events in Germany between 1933 and 1943 had shown him that perfectly intelligent people were, under the pressure of political power and propaganda, rendered stupid—that is, incapable of critical reasoning.

A charismatic leader can get a great number of sheeple to sacrifice their own best interest to the best interest of that leader.

The Asch Conformity Experiment (1951), the Milgram Experiment (1961-1963), and the Stanford Prison Experiment (1971) are generally viewed as warnings about the dark side of human nature and the ever-lurking danger of fascism. But after the events of the last three years I’m starting to see them differently. It seems that somewhere along the way, the CIA, deep state, or various powers that be adopted these experiments as instruction manuals for how to set up totalitarianism throughout the developed world. ...

The latest VAERS Covid vaccine mortality numbers (people reported dead following a Covid shot) look like this:




It strikes me that this is an Asch Conformity Experiment that has now been imposed upon all 330 million Americans. This is no longer an isolated lab experiment, this is the society that we live in today.

Sane people look at this chart and observe that the red bars in 2021, 2022, and thus far in 2023 — that represent vaccine fatalities reported to VAERS — are larger than the bars in years 1990 to 2020.

But if you speak with Tony Fauci, Rochelle Walenksy, Robert Califf, Francis Collins, Ashish Jha, Vivek Murthy, Peter Marks, or President Biden, they will all tell you that every bar on this chart is the same length.

If you speak with Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, or Chris Hayes, they will tell you to your face that all of the bars on this chart are the same length. ...

The powerful pressure to conform that Asch observed in 1951 is ratcheted up all the more in our current system where you will lose your job and be permanently exiled from polite society if you tell the truth. The drug cartel has doctors over a barrel because the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical school debt that most of them carry is extremely difficult to discharge in bankruptcy. Anyone who fails to conform to this lie faces financial ruin.

So what does this tell us?

It tells us that western allopathic medicine is dishonest, that western allopathic medicine is a totalitarian system, and that western allopathic medicine is an existential threat to the future of humanity.

It tells us that if you listen to the CDC or your doctor you are putting your health at risk.

It tells us that our society has already fallen to the fascists.

It tells us that when we take power we must denazify medicine, denazify public health, denazify government and the media, and prosecute everyone involved in this corrupt and genocidal system.

It also tells us that our epistemology must be to trust intuition, trust experience, and trust our own senses in order to survive in a world gone completely mad.

I went on a twitter thread called BringBackMasks a few days ago. It was apparently started in response to a lot of medical settings in the USA dropping facemask requirements. While I can celebrate knowing that I can finally enter these places and get a medical or dental procedure done I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the remaining virtue signalers. I guess it’s like the Japanese soldiers found on some remote island years after World War 2 who didn’t know that it was finished. It’s a religious zealotry that will never go away and the sincere ones I suspect have brains that are permanently broken.

They are true believers; they have taken their free consciousness and signed it up for a lifetime subscription to a Belief Plan. It's not at all surprising that this happens to folks with a certain way of seeing the world. The desire for a social fabric that hangs together, that makes sense in the way they want the world to make sense; that promotes good in a way they can align with. The only problem is that all of this hangs upon unexamined premises; the level of unquestioning trust they grant to "leaders" of the political class, or the medical elite sets them up for a fall. It's not just that they believe, but that with all their being they WANT to believe, and that short circuits their faculty for examining the facts on the ground and comparing them against what is claimed to be true. To not believe would be too painful and too threatening to their belief in the social construct they have pledged allegiance to.

As we know from Asch conformity experiments, the inability to recognize the brainwashing comes from a variety of effects at once:

The desire to avoid social punishment,

The desire to climb the social ladder, and

Distortion of perception (not rare, but not extremely common).

Those who defaulted to hide and wait for the danger to pass, felt endangered by those seekers of relief through questioning and problem solving, as this felt like being forced to confront, and being exposed to, the very danger being hid from. Meanwhile, those who defaulted to seek answers and solutions felt endangered by those who escaped through hiding, as the seekers then couldn’t find enough of a feeling in safety in numbers.

In particular, I have seen very negative reactions when seekers attempt to bring more and more data and information to try to get the hiders in their family and friends groups, to face the problems. Unfortunately, this just sent them further into hiding, and they became ever more avoidant of the seekers, eventually ending up as ostracization, silencing and censoring. This, in turn, just ratcheted up the sense of danger for the seekers, who tended to double down on the bombarding with data, and in an increasingly raised, frustrated tone of voice. So each “side” ended up defeating each others strategy for relief, and everyone remained stressed.
