I was so proud of President Trump when he took us out of the Paris accord on climate change, and as soon as he did, other nations opted out as well. Unfortunately, President Biden signed an executive order as soon as he could in January 2021, and the "greening" of America has continued unfettered by the truth. So here it is.
As Mr. Moore's book confirms, CO2 levels on Earth today are below what they have been in the millions of years the planet has existed. CO2 levels are being put back in the atmosphere thanks to human existence, not killing the planet, but saving it. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is used as a refrigerant, in fire extinguishers, for inflating life rafts and life jackets, for blasting coal, for foaming rubber and plastics, and for promoting the growth of plants in greenhouses. It is vital to life.
When did we start hearing about greenhouse gas emissions as if they signaled the end of the Earth? Gloom-and-doom tales have been fed to gullible audiences since the 1960s, with Hollywood shelling out disaster films about nuclear apocalypse.
Most of these were hilarious, like The Blob, or giant mutant rabbits and insects, but since the global warming scenario hit, an even more ridiculous genre emerged: if we don't start recycling and stop driving fossil fuel cars, we're all going to die.
The Greening of America by Charles Reich, 1970 says it all.
and the "greening" of America has continued unfettered by the truth. So here it is.

American, the world’s largest airline, poised to have the world’s largest supersonic fleet with new Boom Supersonic aircraft
... Overture is being designed to carry 65 to 80 passengers at Mach 1.7 over water — or twice the speed of today’s fastest commercial aircraft — with a range of 4,250 nautical miles.
So the elite left is destroying commercial air travel for the little people, literally restricting the number of flights out of Heathrow to "save the world" from aircraft emissions while they themselves are going to be fying in super-fast and super-expensive super-sonic planes.

The best part of the article is this:

I wonder how they managed to build a "zero emissions" jet. I presume they mean that making the "sustainable" fuel takes as much CO2 out of the air as burning the fuel puts back in.
There is no market for a supersonic airline.
John Coleman above is a kick-ass individual.
A group of almost 1200 of the world’s leading scientists and scholars has signed a document to declare that “there is no climate emergency.”
The group, led by a Nobel Prize laureate, signed the declaration that states climate science is based more on personal beliefs and political agendas than rigorous scientific facts.
The World Climate Declaration warns that climate science “should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific.”

The Nobel Laureate is Ivar Giaever from Norway.

3 world climate declaration June 27, 2022
There is no climate emergency
Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more
scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in
their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately
count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures
Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming
The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the
planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age
ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming.
Warming is far slower than predicted
The world has warmed significantly less than predicted by IPCC on the basis
of modeled anthropogenic forcing. The gap between the real world and the
modeled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.
Climate policy relies on inadequate models
Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as
policy tools. They do not only exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases, they
also ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.
CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth
CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. More CO2 is favorable
for nature, greening our planet. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth
in global plant biomass. It is also profitable for agriculture, increasing the
yields of crops worldwide.
Global warming has not increased natural disasters
There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes,
floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent.
However, there is ample evidence that CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly.
Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities
There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and
alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy
proposed for 2050. Go for adaptation instead of mitigation; adaptation works
whatever the causes are.
OUR ADVICE TO THE EUROPEAN LEADERS IS THAT SCIENCE SHOULD
STRIVE FOR A SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CLIMATE
SYSTEM, WHILE POLITICS SHOULD FOCUS ON MINIMIZING POTENTIAL
CLIMATE DAMAGE BY PRIORITIZING ADAPTATION STRATEGIES BASED ON
PROVEN AND AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGIES.
To believe the outcome of a climate model is
to believe what the model makers have put
in. This is precisely the problem of today’s
climate discussion to which climate models
are central. Climate science has degenerated
into a discussion based on beliefs, not
on sound self-critical science. Should not
we free ourselves from the naive belief in
immature climate models?

world climate declaration June 27, 2022
It seems that scientists like Professor Loschke are fighting back, tired of being abused and often ignored for scientific work that fails to conform to a fashionable political narrative. Last week, the Daily Sceptic highlighted the ongoing World Climate Declaration (WCD), now signed by over 1,100 scientists and professionals. Headed by the Norwegian physics Nobel Prize laureate Professor Ivar Giaever, the WCD says there is no climate emergency. Climate science is said to have degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound science. Our story about the WCD attracted enormous interest on social media and is one of the most widely read articles we have ever published. Enormous efforts were made to trash the Declaration, and many of the people who signed have been personally abused.
“The trouble with almost all environmental problems,’ says Paul R. Ehrlich, the population biologist, ‘is that by the time we have enough evidence to convince people, you’re dead. … We must realize that unless we are extremely lucky, everybody will disappear in a cloud of blue steam in 20 years.'” —The New York Times, 1969.
“No real action has been taken to save the environment, (Ehrlich) maintains. And it does need saving. Ehrlich predicts that the oceans will be as dead as Lake Erie in less than a decade.” —Redlands Daily Facts, 1970.
“Scientist Predicts a New Ice Age by 21st Century: Air pollution may obliterate the sun and cause a new ice age in the first third of the next century. … If the current rate of increase in electric power generation continues, the demands for cooling water will boil dry the entire flow of the rivers and streams of continental United States. … By the next century ‘the consumption of oxygen in combustion processes, world-wide, will surpass all of the processes which return oxygen to the atmosphere.'” —The Boston Globe, 1970.
“The world could be as little as 50 or 60 years away from a disastrous new ice age, a leading atmospheric scientist predicts. … ‘In the next 50 years,’ the fine dust man constantly puts into the atmosphere by fossil fuel-burning could screen out so much sunlight that the average temperature could drop by six degrees. If sustained ‘over several years’ —’five to 10,’ he estimated — ‘such a temperature decrease could be sufficient to trigger an ice age!’ —Washington Post, Times Herald, 1971.
“Dear Mr. President: …We feel obliged to inform you on the results of the scientific conference held here recently. … The main conclusion of the meeting was that a global deterioration of climate, by order of magnitude larger than any hitherto experienced by civilized mankind, is a very real possibility and indeed may be due very soon. The cooling has natural cause and falls within the rank of processes which produced the last ice age. … The present rate of the cooling seems fast enough to bring glacial temperatures in about a century.” —Brown University, Department of Geological Sciences, 1972.
“However widely the weather varies from place to place and time to time, when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing.
“Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age. Telltale signs are everywhere — from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest. Since the 1940s the mean global temperature has dropped about 2.7 (degrees) F. Although that figure is at best an estimate, it is supported by other convincing data. When Climatologist George J. Kukla of Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory and his wife Helena analyzed satellite weather data for the Northern Hemisphere, they found that the area of the ice and snow cover had suddenly increased by 12% in 1971 and the increase has persisted ever since. Areas of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic, for example, were once totally free of any snow in summer; now they are covered year round.” —Time Magazine, 1974.
“A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.” —Associated Press, 1989.
“Unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return.” —former Vice President Al Gore, 2006.
“The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.” —Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 2019.
World Economic Forum Climate Misinformation Must be Subject to Open, Civil Debate
CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 17, 2022
The World Economic Forum has published an op-ed pushing for Artificial Intelligence to manage on-line harms and disinformation, which sparked social media furor, says Friends of Science. In fact, the WEF is a purveyor of climate change misinformation itself and should engage in open scientific debate with CLINTEL on the fact that there is no climate emergency, says Friends of Science.
CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Media and social media commentators swiftly pounced on an opinion piece by Inbal Goldberger posted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) on their site on Aug. 10, 2022, which proposed using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to censor harmful online misinformation, but Friends of Science Society says that's not the most important issue. Friends of Science Society is calling on the WEF to engage in open, civil debate on their climate misinformation the old-fashioned way - in person with CLINTEL.
The WEF regularly engages in climate misinformation, says Friends of Science, noting that WEF gave Greta Thunberg a public stage and much media coverage (posted Jan. 25, 2019 and again Jan. 1, 2020) over her "I want you to panic"... "Our house is on fire" commentaries.

Global warming. Rivers drying. In Europe 10 days of pouring rains
I sit out most elections. What's the point in Silly Con Valley?
What I’m interested in here is, why global warming, precisely? Why is the parasite class so obsessed with pushing this specific narrative?
The bluepill answer is that it’s a real threat, and our leadership class are trying to save civilization from itself. Like I said, I’m gonna pass by that without comment.
The more cynical, and more correct, answer is that the narrative is exceedingly useful to their project of establishing a global technocratic governance system. Because the Climate Emergency is a global emergency, forestalling it demands global coordination. Further, the Climate Emergency is that best of emergencies, the permanent emergency – therefore it requires permanent global coordination. ...
Even that answer, however, only provides a partial explanation for why the parasite class has settled upon global warming via carbon emissions, specifically, as supposed to some other hypothetical global crisis.
Think about it: the exact nature of the climatological threat is really quite arbitrary. They could have settled on global cooling, instead, with the deadly threat of a new Ice Age providing the invisible enemy with which to frighten humanity into surrendering our freedom. In the 1970s they were already running with that narrative; it wasn’t until the 80s that the switch happened. Global cooling has a lot to recommend it, too. We know that we’re in an interglacial, and moreover we know that we’re near the end of the current interglacial – historically they last about 10,000 years, after which the icecaps race forward to swallow the land masses for the next hundred thousand. With only a small amount of imagination, a human role in this could be elaborated. For instance, air pollution increasing the albedo of the planet, and reflecting too much sunlight back into space, could be posited as a contributing factor – right there is your excuse to limit jet travel and restrict industry. ...
was actually pretty good and single handedly delayed the Californication of Maryland by 8 years.
