Let's review the theories:

1. The CIA/Mossad are causing a revolution in Khazakstan, exactly why we don't know. The N government wasn't particularly hostile to the US and indeed has worked with it before.

2. Russia is trying to re-establish control over Khazakstan.

3. N was a legit victim of a popular uprising, that may or may not have external support from covert agencies.
