I dunno what Californians are thinking. Last year Newsom spent $12 billion on the homeless in California.

With a homeless population of about 160000, that comes down to about $75k per homeless person. You guys really need to show some compassion to your fellow man and do better.

This year Newsom is only asking for $2 billion towards the homeless or only about $12500 per homeless person. Fortunately, Biden has just placed a new Homeless czar into place at the Federal level to give federal $ towards this problem to make up for California's stinginess.

Note that this is only the money spent towards housing. It does not include food stamps or medi-Cal.

Although it may look like there's more homeless, really giving more in taxes to fix this situation is the compassionate thing to do to solve this.

Just place more trust in your politicians. There is no corruption in the State of California.

It should be clear at this point that the politicians are seeking to enrich themselves. The more money spent, the more money goes into the private pockets in the private-public partnerships.

If I cant be anymore clear…ANYONE WHO LIVES IN CALIFORNIA AND VOTES FOR DEMOCRATS FOR LOCAL AND STATE OFFICE IS AN ABSOLUTE MORON WHO DESPISES HOMELESS PEOPLE.

Thanks to Newsom, we're attracting homeless talent from other states.

Here's Maher bitching about the $837k per unit for the homeless.

Are people lining up to be homeless to get one?

Seems easier than working for it ... and are drugs included? We know that food stamps and medi-cal are.

What ??? The homeless problem is now worse than it was in California the last time we checked in ???

No problem. So California has a budget problem. So now Newsom wants to borrow an extra $6-7 billion to add extra housing etc. for the homeless. So what if California has a balanced budget amendment in its Constitution? A piece of paper never gets in the way of liberal priorities.

Any takers on whether this will make the problem worse ???
