I oppose the last 20 years of war that the US has been in, simply because they are morally wrong, the US wasn't justified in doing them, and it didn't help those nations in any way.

Iran actually followed in our footsteps, nationalizing their own oil interests and negotiating with the British to pay for the fields they developed. Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh adopted our Constitution as their Constitution originally, and fought on the side of the allies during WWII. Liberia was created by the United States to repatriate slaves that wanted to go there, and it was all done through negotiation, not force.

Right before the assassination attempt against Putin - over two weeks ago - Zelensky left Ukraine and did not return because he knew the Russians had a missile with his name on it.
So, why did he return now?
I suspect the US got the ok from Russia not to launch that missile...

KYIV — Following a successful first term as Chief Executive of the United States of America, Volodymyr Zelensky has officially announced plans to run for a second term as U.S. President.

Military aid, including weapons and ammunition, sent by the United States to Ukraine was overestimated by at least $3 billion owing to an accounting mistake by the Pentagon, Defense Department officials have said.
“During our regular oversight process of presidential drawdown packages, the Department discovered inconsistencies in equipment valuation for Ukraine,” said Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh in an emailed statement to The Epoch Times.

Unless Greece and/or Turkey decide to give up their F16s (unlikely with them hating each other) that leaves Poland with 48 planes to give. Now Poland might just give all of them to the Ukraine (they've been busy making hate you gestures to the Russians), but that just ain't gonna change the war even if some other countries give a few token planes.
They run just over $100 million each and need maintenance pretty much after every flight. So not only do the pilots need about 4 months training but the ground crews about that much too and the ground crews need the equipment.
Looks like we will be able to see how they perform in an area peppered with SAMs. Maybe we will get to see some real dogfights. Brand new Ukie pilots for the planes fresh outta training, but superior to most Russian crap aircraft.
