they have nukes, their missiles are fast. we can’t shoot them down yet. however no nation will use nukes. nukes aren’t that powerful to turn the war, and their biggest threat is fear of them. the only nation to ever nuke was US in Japan.

I don't think that small and weak countries can exist independently next to powerful countries. The powerful impose their will on the weak. Ironically, I will present our Southern border as an example. Right now we are weak because the illegals show up and we give them rights. Were we to project power, by shooting those who attempt illegal crossings, very few would dare to sneak across the border.

How else besides joining NATO would the Eastern Europeans project power against the Russians?
