Putin is getting the full CIA/Mockingbird/MSM treatment. Takes the heat off of Trump for a while. I guess when you make them hysterical and they hire the crisis actors in droves, you are doing something right.

He knocks out the Kiev TV/Radio Tower, which is on the same hill as Babi Yar. Some shells land in and around the tower

The Media: "Blowing up memorials, ZOMG on purpose!"

Are you hiding under some kind of a rock where they feed you 5 y.o. videos?

They knew what was nearby. And they knew their "precise weapons" are not that precise. So going ahead and launching anyway risking getting the horrible optics they're getting now shows a serious IQ deficiency.

PS. With all these harebrained moves from Russia recently it begs the question: have they stopped iodizing their table salt? They used to do in in the USSR because of lack of seafood in their population's diet, but it looks like they stopped after that state collapsed in 1991.

From what I gathered from the news (it's not terribly reliable), Russian forces have surrounded the major cities in the Ukraine and are about to lay siege.

Yes, that means moving up artillery. Unlike the US "shock and Awe" campaign against Iraq, where we stayed back and bombed them for a couple of months before moving in ground forces, Russia will use artillery. Their air force ain't the greatest and they do not want to take any losses there because they fear a wider war could happen in which case those planes will be desperately needed.

Russian artillery is top notch. The world really hasn't seen 24 hour a day bombardments of a city since WWII. Ukraine and/or NATO may want to give into Putin's demands of no entry for Ukraine into NATO to avoid a humanitarian crisis.

Start with "we are doing limited high-presicion strike operation on military targets to protect Russian people in Ukraine from Nazis" and end with "we'll be indiscriminatly bombing civilians 24 hours a day deliberately causing humanitarian crisis"? Who's Nazi now?

PS. And what's so "top notch" about huge mass of dumb artillery pieces? It's fucking 2022, every self-respecting military has fucking guided shells now.

I actually think Ukraine wants them to circle the cities. Then attack from outside and inside. Cut off Russian supply lines and the Ukrainians know the terrain. I'm no military expert, but I'm not understanding the strategy of the Russians.

I'd dominate one region, control it and then move to the next. I mean it worked with Crimea before. Ukraine ain't small and Russia may have nukes, but I don't think their equipment has any advantage over what Ukraine has for conventional warfare. They drop a nuke a lot of places will be toast in short order including Russia. I think they've put themselves in a tough spot on many levels.

Question is what will the geezer in chief actually do if anything?

Nothing. Is there really any doubt in your mind?
