Since we know the numbers are going to suck since Peppermint Patty is leading the Amen Corner Media to blame Putin for it:

Frankly, I prefer my spaceship to have big tits and not fake inflated ones.

EDIT - numbers drop:
America goes back to the 80s: Surging gas prices and higher rents push inflation to 41-year high of 8.5% as White House blames it on Putin invading Ukraine
The consumer price index rose 8.5% in March from a year ago, the fastest increase since December 1981
Housing costs, which make up about a third of the index, have escalated and show no signs of cooling
Gasoline prices soared 49% in March from a year ago as the war in Ukraine rocked energy markets
Biden's administration tried to get ahead of the dire inflation news by blaming Russian leader Vladimir Putin
But Republicans place the blame for soaring prices on 'Democrats' reckless spending and failed policies'

We were promised that prices will go down, not keep going up at 2.8%.

Inflation down, not deflation.

Deflation seldom ends well.

How about neither inflation nor deflation, with a currency based on silver by weight?

It would be the best thing for everyone except the rich who benefit from early access to newly printed Fed cash.

Prices are not going down because the housing market is a monopoly. The majority of
houses in the USA are owned by about six companies.

Gas and egg prices are lower than what they were in the Birdbrain Biden regime.

Check our Panama City Beach rents such as Hathaway Townhomes and they are at 2021 levels.

So Trump has helped to keep costs down, but I'm not sure he can help us fully recover from the disastrous policies and legislation of the Birdbrain Biden regime.

2 to 3% annual inflation is likely the outcome. Still is a lot better than Biden's 9% annual inflation in 2022.

This would've happened regardless. Donnie did nothing basically. And he DID promised that prices will go down.

August 9, 2024 (Bozeman, MT rally):“Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make America affordable again, to bring down the prices of all goods.”

• August 14, 2024 (North Carolina rally): “Prices will come down. You just watch: They’ll come down, and they’ll come down fast, not only with insurance, with everything.”

• August 17, 2024 (campaign speech):
“Starting the day I take the oath of office, I will rapidly drive prices down and we will make America affordable again.”

Donnie promised prices will go down from Birdbrain Biden regime's peak price levels.

Donnie is trying to increase economic growth, reign in Democrat-wasteful spending, and implement other measures and ensure conditions (i.e. energy policy) to reduce inflation.

More than 75% of homes across the U.S. are unaffordable, study finds

More than 75% of homes across the country are unaffordable for the typical household, Bankrate said in a report. The personal finance firm defines a home as affordable if the annual housing costs do not exceed 30% of a household's income.

"Only a sliver of the housing market is affordable to the typical household," Bankrate data analyst Alex Gailey told CBS News. "That's when homeownership starts to feel less like a common middle-class milestone and more like a luxury."

Deporting illegals is deflationary.

That is true and the Democrats are desperately trying to control the narrative on immigration like it will cost $5 a strawberry because of Trump's immigration policies.

Donnie has reformed corporate average fuel efficiency (CAFE) standards to reduce the price of cars, pushed for more energy production, and implemented a $1 billion plan to combat the avian influenza (bird flu) outbreak, which was cited as the primary cause of high egg prices due to the culling of millions of egg-laying hens.

And as mentioned before, he is taking on illegal immigration and federal fraud by immigrants such as in Minnesota by the Somali community.

Mostly agree with this. Prices are still stubbornly high in all sectors (fuel excluded) and many food prices keep increasing. It's not his fault as it takes a while but making this promise was dangerous, it may come back haunting him.

It was the Fed who slowed down inflation by jacking up rates. If anything, Donnie might have contributed to prices going (or staying) up by shotgunning tariffs on everything and everybody. Good thing he TACOed from many of these but the remaining do not help. And now he is whining about lowering rates and planning sending out $2K stimulus checks. Both are inflationary. He needs to supress his realtard instincts and let higher rates do their thing. And no fucking stimulus checks - enough of that shit!

This is definitely true where I live.
