They already stole one election by suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop revelation.

No they didn't. It was direct ballot stuffing.

Even after 4 years of "Trump Putin Puppet", 9 months of Antifa and BLM burning, looting, and murdering, even after they enacted censorship, Trump still won. Biden wasn't elected.
22   PeopleUnited   2022 Apr 25, 8:28pm

Biden was elected, by the electoral college. Regardless of what ever else happened that much is true. And mainstream media collaborated with social media and the democrat party to deliberately hide the truth that Biden family is a bunch of criminals bought and paid for by the global oligarchy. If people knew how disgusting these politicians are it would not be socially acceptable to admit to voting for them. But where I live, pretty much the opposite is true. Lies stole election, plain and simple. Vote fraud may have played a role, and certainly mail in ballots made that child’s play, but the lies is what made people accept the fake results.

Twitter becomes a giant honey pot to lure freedom loving, but not too savvy individuals back to a mainstream platform where their activities are more easily tracked.
People continue thinking in pseudo-sentences and memes, furthering the retardation of America.
Real freedom loving platforms that are independent of big tech lose freedom loving, but slightly stupid users, weakening the movement towards much needed decentralization.

Now here's what I really think. They are losing, they have been for years, and are becoming increasingly desperate. In a few more years, gootube, google, facebook(already), and twatter will have gone the way of the Dodo as people are leaving in droves, opening the blinds, and remembering that real communication starts by talking to your neighbors, not swearing at a bot/shill. This is an attempt to make big tech relevant again, and elevate Musk's candidacy for anti-Christ. I'm semi-serious on that last part. If you guys did one tenth of the res...

Wow, I was pretty much thinking the exact same thing.

I don't know how "free speech" helps on Twitter if someone can dox you for what you say.

Doxing is just one concern. Speaking freely could end up costing you everything, this whole woke shit and cancel culture isn’t over just because some billionaire owns a platform.

And what if it is the Trojan horse towards implementing a platform for payment, and social credit scoring just like in China? We know Musk is into human microchip implantation, digital “currencies”, Internet service provider and now social media, what if he combines that all into a mark of the best type system that becomes “you can’t buy or sell unless you take the microchip implant? Not likely, but just asking what if here. I have no reason to trust Musk.

I hope it doesn't distract him from his goal of humans on Mars and furthering space exploration.

Mr. Trump said he will instead become active on TRUTH Social

Best of luck to him. Truth Social (how Orwellian is that name?) will be 100% people that the left will want to attack. Death by 1000 cuts. At least with Twitter, the left will be equally destroying a platform that the left uses as well.

For the first time in about two years, I see Raheem Kasaam tweets in my feed. Granted, I've been using twitter very little since January 2021, checking in maybe once a week to read Kurt or Poso.

M-M-Martin L-Luther K-King, and Tuh Tuh Tuh Talcum X!!

Looks like Shaun King... went Dark.

MSNBC Guest literally predicts that Elon Musk might do to the Left what Twitter has already done to Conservatives and Donald Trump and Alex Jones.

The best moment was when the Blue Check Trust Fund Snowflakes came up with the idea to crowdsource a few billion to buy Twitter before Musk.

Though of course, they didn't really need a Kickstarter for that.

Did anyone see the episode of Orville where they took social media to the extreme where society was run by social media status?

Black Mirror did a really good episode on this.

Scientifically impossible. One can develop an unhealthy compulsion to do just about anything, even drink too much water. But that's entirely independent of any influence the substance being ingested has on the individual.

Do the Right Thing.

I think Spike Lee is a racist, but I love that movie.

Spike Lee's best film is Summer of Sam. And yeah, he's a Commie Racist cunt.

I actually like Malcolm X. He was a flawed man but who isn't? I can appreciate his viewpoint, and he was assassinated because he was making progress. I think he's more interesting than Martin Luther King, and more correct.

Something that I think we are mostly unaware of is slavery didn't end with the Civil War. Prison labor is slave labor and it was VERY EASY to end up in jail if you were black, just jaywalk or be accused of some trivial crime. Blacks were a vulnerable population that were purposely kept poor for decades after the civil war, they were easy to take advantage of and they were abused and used well into the 1950s.

I also like Malcolm X. Pull up by bootstraps, get wealth and power to not be a victim, positive message guy.

For a period of time he actually supported segregation. He was like "I give up on the white man!" but I've heard (not read yet) that he abandoned that idea. I kind of like the idea he promoted the concept of "fuck you all, we'll just make our own damned society" - I think that's a good idea among people of similar ideology, not racial.

Shit, if I could bow out of this bullshit government and go my own way, I'd consider it - but I was a stupid, and I'm in "high tech", that's a horrible trap. I have a to work for a billion dollar company. I'm trying to extract myself from this naive nightmare I joined as a stupid 20 year old kid.

X, he started the original "#walkaway" movement. I almost regret it wasn't successful. He knew his enemy white people, they think their enemies are their friends. That's the whole point of racism, to get us to side with our enemies.

That's why we gotta expand off the planet. I expect the Earth to get nuttier and nuttier. Go raise the Periapsis, young man.

Hahaha, no.

Imagine living on Mars - all you'd be doing is maintaining your environment to prevent death and growing food. You'd be in a prison for life and your only job is survival. There's not going to be any Mars semiconductor lab any time soon. It would be a totally artificial environment.

We're 100's of years away from being able to live comfortably off Earth. Maybe 1000's. The people that move there would mutate as well, in 1/3rd gravity. They might be 9 feet tall on average who can't even enter the gravity well of Earth. This idea of living off Earth seemed great when I was a kid, but imagine the largest structure you can imagine, and spending your entire life in that - that's what it would be like. No matter how comfortable how luxurious it was, it would be a prison in time.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Elon Musk’s bid to purchase Twitter came up short after 138,000 board votes were found at 2 a.m., a company spokesman confirmed Tuesday. Musk had been in talks to purchase the company for $44 billion.

“We really thought Musk was going to pull this one out,” said Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. “The yes votes had a strong lead when I went to bed last night, but that was before we counted all the mail-in votes that one of our employees found in locker 142 at the bus terminal.”

When the final votes were tallied, the takeover bid failed by a final tally of 10 votes for, 138,000 votes against. While the final result came as a shock to most observers, Agrawal said the election was fair. “Twitter takes election integrity very seriously,” he noted. “I can confidently say this was the most secure election in American history.”

A shocked Musk took to Twitter Tuesday to express his outrage. “Those ballots…that’s a whole big scam,” Musk tweeted. “The only way I could have lost is if this was rigged! I refuse to accept the results of this vote!”

Musk later tweeted that he was planning a demonstration at Twitter headquarters on May 6 to protest the results. His account was then permanently suspended by Twitter for questioning the integrity of the election.

Rotating living quarters. We're 10-20 years if we, in JFK's words, "Do the things" that need doing, which means not sending up 6th Grade Potato Hydroponic projects for $100M's to the ISS and instead start testing rotating habitats and more inflatable modules and craft-to-craft refueling.

We have the basic tech to have Arctic style medium duration (6-12 mos) outposts now. After a few of those, we'll be ready for long term occupation of years.

Long-term, Earth will only get more centralized and governments will not tolerate experiments in new forms of governance and living. Only outside the reach of bureaucrats is it possible. The G-well makes stopping these things impossible.
