I've been told by doctors I had a stomach flu, only to end up in the ER for what was a bacterial infection I got from my then-nurse girlfriend. Literally 2 hours after getting the Zithro my symptoms were 80% better and it was like I was never sick a day later. FWIW I barely made it downstairs and somebody called an ambulance for me 48 hours after being dismissed from the clinic for a "Stomach Virus". I was 25 at that time and they just put me through the checklist and DGAF at the walk in clinic. I'm the kind of guy with robust health and I go years between flus and colds, even now in my 40s.

BTW, it took the FDA almost 30 years before they allowed Gay Men to donate blood again in 2015.

There are decent gay people out there, but these events aren't for them. My cousin is gay, he's rather disgusted by gay pride parades and so on.

People spent years being "just leave us alone" and they are not welcoming of people who impose their viewpoint on others. It's undoing everything for them. I, for example, am no longer just indifferent. If I meet a man that is gay now, I'll avoid physical contact and I will also have a underlying suspicion that he's a groomer/pedophile. I don't understand this. We were "forced" (I didn't mostly) to wear masks, stay home with our kids, mine at their most important years education wise, and we now have a gay disease again? This is science fiction at this point.

I do think it's hysterical that IL, CA and NY declare states of emergency. You have too many gays. Thats the emergency. Stop the pride parades making it look like fun. I agree, this doesn't look like monkeypox to me either. At first I thought it was shingles (herpes zoster) but that's a full break out as well. I think SOME of these man are getting shingles, but others are not.

A lot of the infections look like shingles, the guy with the lesions on his lips, it KIND of looks like localized monkeypox.
