She's an opportunist. She rushes in a grabs cheap low hanging fruit. Like calling for the impeachment of every no good son of a bitch that the Magaverse is upset at on a busy political week. Because she knows it wont go anywhere. But she bends the base over and does everyone's asshole when it really counts.
Like voting on this bill to keep the 80,000 IRS agents.

STATEMENT: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Appointment of David Weiss as Special Counsel to Cover Up Hunter Biden's Criminal Career

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene issued the following statement following today's appointment of Davis Weiss as Special Counsel to cover up Hunter Biden's criminal career:

"Today’s move by Merrick Garland to appoint David Weiss as Special Counsel to investigate (and in reality cover up) Hunter Biden’s criminal career is the latest action in a continuous pattern of corrupt behavior by Joe Biden and his regime. Behavior typically only seen in juntas in third-world nations or early twentieth-century dictatorships in Europe.

This is a cover-up, plain and simple. This appointment is designed to protect Joe Biden from his exposure to the serious and substantial investigation Republicans are conducting in Congress. This move establishes a firewall to protect the Biden family from their crimes of influence peddling and selling access to “The Brand,” former Vice President Joe Biden. Every subpoena, every record request, every transcribed interview, or any other effort in an impeachment inquiry will be be blocked by this corrupt and unlawful Special Counsel under the guise of an “investigation.”

Republicans, including the House Oversight Committee, have revealed more information on the crimes of Joe Biden and his son in just seven short months than the corrupt DOJ, especially David Weiss, have in years. That’s exactly why this plot to obfuscate, distract, and ultimately cover-up the Biden Crime Family’s corrupt business model is unfolding before our eyes.

The U.S. Attorney appointed today, David Weiss, is totally unqualified to conduct any sort of investigation into Biden crimes. Weiss has been derelict in his duty to prosecute Hunter Biden by ignoring mountains of evidence of tax fraud, evasion, and other crimes presented by brave IRS whistleblowers. Weiss has ignored mountains of evidence, most notably the famous FBI 1023 form directly linking Joe Biden to millions of dollars in payments by Burisma executives to have a Ukrainian prosecutor removed from office. And after all of this, Weiss gave Hunter Biden a sweetheart deal on serious charges where he wouldn’t face a day in prison. The entire prosecution of Hunter Biden by Weiss has been a coverup.

Not only is David Weiss unqualified to conduct this “investigation,” his appointment by Garland is illegal and violates federal statute. The qualifications clearly state: “The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States government.” David Weiss is currently the U.S. Attorney for Delaware. Joe Biden’s Attorney General is breaking the law right in our face!

All of this is happening while President Trump is facing criminal charge after criminal charge in a political persecution like we’ve never seen before in America. Another DOJ Special Counsel, Jack Smith, has launched an unprecedented attack on the First Amendment, on President Trump and on his supporters. This two-tiered system of injustice being rolled out in our country is designed to scare the hell out of Biden’s political opposition and force us into the shadows.

If you fall in line with the regime, you won’t be punished for the most egregious crimes, but if you dare oppose the regime, your life will be ruined and you’ll be thrown behind bars. There is no clearer example than the treatment of violent and murderous BLM rioters, who had their charges dropped, compared to J6ers, who have been locked up for years.

Republicans have no other choice but to stand up against this unprecedented tyrannical regime and IMPEACH.

Joe Biden must be impeached. Merrick Garland must be impeached. David Weiss must be impeached. Jack Smith must be impeached. Virtually, every person in Biden’s corrupt, tyrannical regime should be impeached, convicted, and removed from office.

The Democrats are playing for keeps. They are throwing every political opponent they can in jail. Soon it could be you. Republicans must use every legal tool at our disposal. We have to fight back."

I don't trust Greene anymore.

Weiss was appointed by Trump. Not sure what's going on.
48   Ceffer   2023 Oct 3, 12:09pm

I don't think we exactly know the game here. Jumping to conclusions is kinna tough. We have an intricate game of timing between the DS and Trump trying to gauge the ouster of Biden with his replacement, which could include a outgassing of McCarthy at just the right moment. McCarthy might even be a participant in the strategy, frenemy or not.
The Red Queen reaction of 'off with their heads' as soon as they do the slightest thing that displease is stripping a few dimensions off the situation methinks.
49   Tenpoundbass   2023 Oct 3, 1:16pm

Welp there you have it, she voted with the RINOs to keep McCarthy.

Yes a cheap careless mistake on her part. If I were a mealy mouthed politician in Congress pretending to be a MAGA Patriot, I think I would have sought really hard to ascertain how many Republicans would be voting with the Democrats to toss KM out. It only took five. And to be left with your ass hanging out bare in sub zeros winds. Her and Jim Jordan's brand is done.

It goes way beyond cordial polite politics like the RINOs tried to present and paint it. I think Matt Gaetz made a very compelling argument, as to why the status quoa and sugar coating McCarthy's willingness to placate the minority Dems, as some beaming accomplishment. As all of Matt Gaetz detractors and KM's defenders tried to paint it. Shame on them all, if they don't realize how they were Rolled by Donald J. Trump through Matt Gaetz. The two of them played them all like a fool.

It's about power.

When the speaker is removed, the entire power structure can shift. Anybody that is in power wants to retain it. Now all appointments are threatened.

Basically to change anything, you have to sellout.

When you have a power structure that is based on ideologies and not competence, this is what you get.

We've had this for a LONG time.

There's literally no reason for the UNITED STATES to support Ukraine. I'm sure there's business interests involved though. Ukraine I fear is going to be wiped out. Nearly every man capable of fighting, and a lot that aren't, are going to die and for what? So Hunter Biden's bullshit with Burisma isn't exposed? For what??

The intelligent thing for Ukrainians in my opinion is flee to Europe or to Russia, and wait it out, then come back to rebuild, whatever is left.

If they were really smart, they would be killing their oligarchs and politicians.

Unless it's on video, ignore it, and even if it's on video, it might be false today. There's no punishment for being a fucking liar in "news media" today. Just watch Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity to know this.

Remember this article:

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/09/trump-americans-who-died-at-war-are-losers-and-suckers/615997/

This is how fucking dishonest our media is now. That entire article is absolute bullshit. Trump went to a military school as a kid, and we are supposed to believe he didn't know what sides were on which in WWII. The idea is that everybody knows this so Trump must be supremely stupid, it's just not true, why does anybody fucking trust something in print in a fucking "news" article? Jeffrey Goldberg is a lying piece of shit. He's a scumbag.

That was written by Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic. What a fucking asshole, he has destroyed the reputation and trustworthiness of that paper, in one article. What a piece of shit. He just fucking lied to promote an agenda, and you have to wonder why these motherfuckers lie. There's got to be a motivation.

Trump is hardly a friend of the working man, he's a dirtbag himself, that's a HUGE STEP UP from what we have today and have had previously, those inhuman monsters are far worse.

The New York Post ran a story yesterday headlined, “MTG lashes out after Ukraine aid bill passes, demands Speaker Mike Johnson’s resignation: ‘Complete betrayal’.”

This weekend, Speaker Mike Johnson delivered a Masterclass on how to burn a budding political career to the ground in only 72 hours. The word “rage” barely describes how the Republican base feels about Johnson’s U-turn on Ukraine aid, which was approved on Saturday in the House with 100% democrat support, and will be approved tomorrow in the democrat-controlled Senate. Then it will be signed into law ten seconds later by a very lifelike, rubber-coated, Joe Biden animatronic robot with the extra mumbling package.

Yesterday, irate Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), vowed on Fox News Sunday that “Mike Johnson’s speakership is over.” She is correct. Absent a miracle, sooner or later, Johnson is finished. Democrats might help Johnson cling on to the Speakership for a while pursuant to some hideous backroom political scheme, which will only make Johnson look even more corrupt. But the Johnson clock is ticking.

Inexplicably, President Trump has failed to mention Speaker Johnson at all in his most recent Truth Social posts, even ones about Ukraine aid. Instead, he’s complained only about the U.S. having to shoulder the whole burden — and oddly recently remarked that “everyone agrees … Ukrainian survival is … important to us”...

Prior to this post, Trump has consistently and opposed Ukraine aid, and usually in capital letters. It’s a mystery what turned Trump around. Could it have had something to do with Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s personal visit to Mar-a-Lago last week? After all, Trump’s most popular book is titled “The Art of the Deal.” Now, I’m sure it didn’t probably happen this way, but the timing is highly suggestive, and it’s still a fun thought experiment: what could Cameron have possibly offered Trump to get him (and Speaker Johnson by proxy) on board for more Ukraine support?

Like wretched fentanyl junkies swaying incoherently on the streets of Philadelphia, America sways in the grip of a Ukraine addiction. Or more accurately, America’s security state sways incoherently under its Ukraine addiction. Over the weekend, watching the unfolding drama in the House of Representatives, foreign commenters observed that Ukraine appears to be the Biden Administration’s most important political issue.

Ukraine, which first burst onto the national scene after Trump requested an investigation and got impeached for his trouble, does seem to be driving everything else right now.

So what? There is only One True Political Party: The Uniparty.

The base? Uniparty doesn't care. And why the fuck should they?

As for MTG, she's nuts if she believes all the Kool-Aide about how 'the conference' is 'enraged'. Same conference that just showed it's colors when over 100 them voted for this shit. And on the Senate side, where's the filibuster? Pols like JD Vance blah, blah, blah on TV...so where is his filibuster?

And Trump is a fool if he actually bought the bullshit about this being a loan. A loan w/o interest, 'pay whenever/if ever you want' terms, and is totally forgivable via EO.

So is Trump a fool or was he in on the bullshit too?

https://slaynews.com/news/mtg-annihilates-evil-fauci-covid-hearing-you-belong-prison-crimes-against-humanity/

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) savagely ripped into Dr. Anthony Fauci during Monday’s congressional hearing on America’s Covid response.

Greene provoked a meltdown from the overly sensitive Democrats in the room when she refused to call Fauci a “doctor.”

She repeatedly called for the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) “Mr. Fauci” and declared that he doesn’t deserve the title of doctor.

Fauci had been called to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Monday regarding the decisions he made during the pandemic.

During an intense grilling from Greene, Fauci was told that he “belongs in prison” for “crimes against humanity.”

Holding up a card with an image of Fauci and a quote from an interview with CBS, Greene said:

“Mr. Fauci, you were quoted on CBS ‘Face the Nation’ saying, ‘It’s easy to criticize, but they’re really criticizing science because I represent science.’

“Do you represent science, Mr. Fauci?” Greene asked, adding emphasis on the “mister.”

Fauci declined to give a yes or no answer, leading to a clash with the congresswoman.

Instead, he tried to insist that he is a scientist.

Greene then brought up how NIAID, under Fauci’s leadership, directed $424,455 in taxpayer money to fund researchers at the University of Georgia in September 2020.

According to documents obtained by the White Coat Waste Project (WCW), the research involved infecting dozens of beagles with disease-causing parasites in order to test an experimental drug on them.

“I want to tell you this is disgusting and evil, what you signed off on and these experiments that happened to beagles paid for by the American taxpayer,” Greene said.

“And I want you to know Americans don’t pay their taxes for animals to be tortured like this.

So this type of science that you are representing, Mr. Fauci, is abhorrent and it needs to stop.”

“You’re not doctor, you’re Mr. Fauci,” she added, provoking a meltdown from Democrats.

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) objected to Greene for refusing to call Fauci a doctor.

“In terms of the rules of decorum, are we allowed to deny that a doctor is a doctor just because we don’t want him to be a doctor?” Raskin asked.

Greene pushed back, however, protesting that she doesn’t consider Fauci a doctor.

“Yes, because in my time, that man does not deserve to have a license,” Greene said.

“As a matter of fact, it should be revoked and he belongs in prison.”

The hearing then delved into contentiousness.

Democrat representatives complained that Greene’s questioning was inappropriate and violated rules before she continued on.

Greene was told to call Fauci by his title.

“You know what this committee should be doing?” she said to Fauci.

“We should be recommending you to be prosecuted.

“We should be writing a criminal referral.

“You should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity,” she told Fauci.

I think the whole world's a stage...fake and gay. We have ZERO ability to know the truth of almost everything the government does.
