What good would it be for the Democrats to arrest Trump before the midterms? They only ever try to motivate their voting base by using fear. Trump in jail would only lower Dem turnout because there’s one less thing to be afraid of now. It would also raise the turnout of the GOP base, to make sure this won’t happen to whoever they want to win the presidency in 2024.

I don’t know about arrests. But their goal is to either prevent him from running, or prevent the swing voters from swinging for him. That is what the whole charade is about. Because he is not a puppet, and they only want puppets in the Oval Office.

There's no proof, that's the problem. Not the island itself but I've been down there multiple times. Public cannot beach on the island, so no high tide/water line law is valid. He put rocks on any beach area which negates that law even for USVI. You could get away with anything on that island and no one would know besides those partaking. Which why would anyone snitch or say anything? It was a perfect setup in a beautiful place. Which likely helped get the girls there too and probably boys.

Back to the OP, I don't really care much about Trump at this point. I'd really love age limits on POTUS as we're witnessing now with Biden. So that would age Trump out in my opinion and he's most certainly going to slow cognitively in the next 2-1/2 years, that's a fact. Fact is there's no good young leadership on either side. It's all bloviating and hype to get attention for a potential run.

Desantis is trying, but I still don't trust the dude. He kind of lucked into a position where he didn't believe the covid hype, but that doesn't make him a good leader, but our FL users can speak to that more.

The Dems don't even have an average "minor league" candidate as I assume Biden is toast if he does decide to run again. I'd like to see Rand Paul in all honesty. Youngish. Educated. Libertarian leaning. I fear we'll be in another war before Biden's term ends. The war hawks know the next admin is likely to be anti war if it's Trump or someone like Paul.
