My father had a gas pipeline put though his property, he had a choice - either he sell the thin line of property to the state, or just put up with the bullshit, but he could never develop on top of it. I got to work, to see what Omni had done to other towns that took the deal. Their scam was to make a "sanitary landfill" near an area that had running water, this allowed them time enough so that the statute of limitations would expire before it was discovered their landfill was leaking, because the water leached it away. I was behind the scenes, but I made certain to sink that "deal".

My wife hasn't done the East Coast so much, well Northeast. So it's on the list. I can't stand the entire region. Frankly it makes me angry when I've been there.
