You can search yourself, even a cursory search will reveal plenty of people who have been fired, you will not find a single one wrt Iraq war, rank has nothing to do with it, higher ranking people always have better odds, but are certainly not completely immune. What do you mean by "left" or "right"? Are you talking about the parties? The government put the January 6th protestors in jail without bail. The government framed them and set them up. The government refused to prosecute Antifa and BLM, despite the fact they literally murdered people. The "left" didn't do this, that an illusion.

Let's not talk about parties but with people who identify as "left" or "right". Basically all the left is, are a bunch of naive people that think they can reform the government. In principal I agree with many of your statements, and communism is just fascism with red paint. All good and well. But even if you disregard boxes such as left and right, they are applicable for long periods and have a mutually understood meaning during those periods, and if you wanted to get away from whatever is oppressing society you have to start somewhere. It's irrelevant for your ultimate goal that there are oppressing forces within the Republican party as well, RINOs, uniparty big government hacks, whatever you may call them, the fact is that if Republicans would sweep into office tomorrow, the US would suddenly regain a lot of lost civil liberties. The Trump, tea party, anti-establishment arms of the party would never allow such sweeping oppression of civil liberties we have seen since the xiden administration "took over" (in fact the leftoids are shrieking that the xiden admin is not communist/marxist/oppressive enough). So there is your start, then from there you can work actively against the remaining oppressive/uniparty forces in the now governing Republican party and try to throw as much of the RINOs out as possible. You will get much faster to your goal of a free society than bitching about both parties, forming a 3rd party, or trying to rebel against the leftoid government whose ultimate goal is to put you into jail or internment camp forever. It's unfathomable to reject massive change for the better just because you will have scumbags in the new government as well. Just look at the primaries, The Republican primaries are often close calls and it's hard to predict the winners whereas for the preselected Demonrat politbureau apparatschiks winning with 80% or more of the vote is a given, similar to the 80/90 million votes apparatschik xiden "magically" got. There is not even a iota of Republic or Democracy within the Demonrat party, it's full on communism/marxism, so don't tell me they are the same as the Republicans. They aren't.
