Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi. The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation. Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery. The Speaker was not in San Francisco at the time.

OK. So this goes together with the UC Davis “brawl.” All about casting criticism of Democrats as “inciting violence.” The main purpose of this story is to fuel the argument against allowing open political debate. I doubt Mr. Pelosi is really at the hospital.

Given where it happened, we may not find out the truth. For example, about the perp being a nudist activist. Wouldn't be surprised if he has at least a minor conviction or so for protesting, too. Not in the San Fran police interest to tell the truth here, they will lie by ommission whenever they can reasonably do so.

They will try to connect the suspect (42-year-old David DePape, a Berkeley resident) to Republicans.

I want to know who dialed this suspect in ? AntiFa, Bend the Arc, Act Blue ????

I read an AP article and it references that in recent months that the suspect David DePape had made "right wing" posts about COVID, gun rights, etc. So who is his handler ? A mid-level AntiFa operative ?

I remember passing through this house long time ago thinking, they only use of it is to get votes by showing up before elections as if their "representative" lives over there. Based on how it looks from outside, no way above middle class person would want to live there.
