So I didn't let my kids watch Lightyear after seeing the bullshit around lesbians having a kid. My daughter wanted to watch Strange World, and I had not taken the time to read about it, so we got caught in the theater. Strange World failed not because it was "woke" really, it's just that it was genetic, predictable, and sucked. That's what reviewers are saying anyhow.

Similar to when we were being told that the reason that Ghostbusters 2016 didn't do well was because it was an all female cast. It failed because it just kind of sucked. It was all ad-libbed, juvenile comedy.

I don't consume modern media much, but in the rare times I catch it, it's just bad. The writers are below average. Basically today, Star Trek Strange New Worlds is just a bunch of nonsense strung together to get to the next special effect sequence for example.
