The Chinese government has publicly claimed that it's a weather balloon, but of course, if it WAS some sort of intelligence gathering mechanism, they'd of course lie. If it was a big deal, we wouldn't know about it. If the US government was collaborating with the Chinese, the US would just claim it's THEIR weather balloon or just deny it exists at all.

Be aware of what kind of lies our government does get away with. They lied for 4 years about Russian Collusion, and they are lying about the election of Joe Biden. There's no independent press. When our "news" makes up a story, it's either complete bullshit, or a distraction. They control what we talk about. Do we talk about, say, the Ukrainian war anymore? They control the Overton Window.

The question is, what emotional response are people experiencing over this story? I think they're about to throw Joe Biden under the bus, so perhaps this is a setup to get rid of him, or perhaps it's a setup to get us to "hate CHYna" and saber rattle. I don't know, I'm just so fucking far beyond this at this point, SO USED to being manipulated, that I just discount anything my government says, because they ALWAYS lie.

I used to walk past a school twice a day on the way to work. On the way, I found stones painted blue, with "Ukraine" in yellow printed on them. That's what they have CHILDREN doing for "education". What do they know about the conflict? What do the teachers know about the conflict? I lot less than I do, and I admit, I don't know a hell of a lot, but I think it's basically to do with US energy dominance over Europe and the Middle East, that would fit in with the last 20 years of stupid fucking wars in the Middle East. Little kids are being indoctrinated, and in California, the "liberal state" in the heart of Silly Con Valley, to push for fucking war. All us peacenik hippies...

I'm ACUTELY aware of when I'm being mislead. Maybe I'm wrong this time, but generally if I take the position of "this story is bullshit", without knowing ANYTHING about the story, I'm over 95% correct in hindsight. It's a lot safer to assume our media is lying.

My experience is that our government doesn't give a shit what we think, as long as whatever we think, is incorrect. I don't know why they do this, but I suspect it's because our government is always doing shit we'd resist, if we knew what they were actually doing. That's why they've lied about the reasons for EVER WAR we've been in for at least 20 years, probably 70, probably over 200.

NORAD knew days ago. ONLY because a local MT media got footage were they forced to address it.

First it would have to have been launched in Montana. Not a chance in hell it crossed the Pacific without being noticed.

Second is it’s a fucking balloon…. Even if it’s Chinese or even Russian operations, it’s a fucking balloon. That’s like shooting a Nerf gun at someone with an AR in battle. And as others have said don’t they have satellites?

There are nukes out here which would be the only concern. So I’m not convinced that it’s not a spy ballon. If you’re going to launch one and kill the least amount of civilians MT and ND are perfect and you could cripple our land based nukes (that we know about).

Problem with that strategy is we have a bunch of nukes out at sea and airborne in a moment. I don’t know if it’s trolling or actual spying, but using a ballon is retardation in its purest form.

I commented somewhere earlier this morning, in a Disqus article about the militaries lack of action on the Chinese Spy Balloon.
I said that I suspect that Biden will shoot it down, once it has completed it's land mission and China has gathered all of the data that it needs, I quiped they would shoot it down once it hit the Atlantic Ocean.
